We play 2 teams from each pot, right? What's the difference between being in pot 1 or pot 4?
Pot 1: includes the winners of the CL, EL, and the league winners of the top 6 leagues.

Pots 2, 3, and 4: based on Uefa club coefficient rankings, which reflect a club's performance over the last 5 years.

Hmmm that was not the answer to my question. In the previous format you didn’t play with teams in your own pot in the group stage. So being in pot 1 was valuable since your opponents were probably weaker. In this format even in pot 1 you play teams from pot 1.

Yeah negligible difference, you don't play teams from your nation, so if pot 1 and a significant number of teams from your country, then there is a bigger chance to face teams like psg and leipzig.

But you don't play the same opponent twice it is either home or away fixture.I am sure everyone is excited for this new format something different to the monotonous group stage.

I don't see any difference. Maybe home advantage using the pot's hierarchy?
I see it now. If you are in Pot 1 you face 2 of your peers & 6 teams that are 'lesser' than you & vice versa. In the old system a Pot 1 team would not be facing any peer at this early stage.

Exactly, and that's weird. Previously getting into pot 1 would automatically mean a higher chance of going deeper. So say you're in EL final, and you know you're getting into pot 1 if you win that match, so that's extra motivation. Now that extra motivation is gone.
