The best thing about Slot is that he realizes it is just football.

I don't mean that in the sense that he has remained humble or anything. I hate it when people talk that sort of nonsense. But Slot knows that no one will die after a mistake and that the world will not end if Feyenoord lose today. He demands good football, but he treats his players, the refs and the fans with respect and doesn't go crazy when things don't go his way. He also has a way of being brutally honest during interviews, without being crude or offensive.

I guess what I like most about him is that he's simply well behaved.
