To be fair when they beat Juventus it was 21 years ago, we had already qualified and rested a lot of players (Carini, Maresca, Zenoni, Paramatti all started, Del Piero played only 45mins, replaced by Trez, Frara was a sub).
Yeah it wasn't a full strength Juventus team that night, also it was on Halloween as I remember. Some game though, 4-3 plus ADP scored that banger of a free kick. The Delle Alpi game was decided by a penalty Amoruso dived for as well, I remember being raging about that :grin:

It was a long time ago, that's sorta my point, is that's the Celtic Park I remember when Celtic could compete with the biggest teams. As a Celtic fan im waiting for that to come round again. Maybe it never will. Interestingly our away record, even at the time our home record was so good, was shocking - zero CL wins even against unpronounceable minnows until I think 2013 or something over Spartak Moscow. It really was something about Celtic Park and the relentless home support that made us difficult to beat
