Real Madrid did slightly better in the second half only because they had more space to push forward as Liverpool obviously needed a goal. But they still sat deep for the vast majority of the game.

Besides, to your point, no one is comparing the abomination we witnessed at Juve this year to Madrid. Not in terms of players, or performances, or tactics. This is more so about the nonsense revisionism going on about our first Allegri spell and it being impossible to win a CL final playing the style we did then (which is now being called Dinoball too lol). We put in more progressive performances than what Real did today or Chelsea did last year in the 2015 and 2017 finals and ended up losing to better teams. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out.

Inter and Milan have better and more balanced squads than ours. Plus we lost Ronaldo before the season got going and Chiesa for half the season. Our team sucks and no other manager would have changed much for us this season.
