Pep can be blamed for a lot of eliminations, but tonight no IMO.

They were much better at least in terms of chances created than RM over two legs. He didn't fuck around with lineups like he usually does. They literally had 2 sitters 5 minutes before they conceded the 2 goals and then RM score from two crosses. There is no magic wand that stops that meltdown in such a quick fashion.

Not to forget the first leg. They should have won the comfortably, only retarded defending from Fernandinho on Vinicius and Laporte giving a silly penalty away. They also missed 3-4 sitters.

If they go out tonight it’s not because of Pep imo.

They were still the better team. Two missed sitters away from putting the game to bed. With what Real madrid have upfront they would have put themselves in a much riskier position if they decided to park the bus.

shit can happen in football. they were about to progress and it would have happened 9/10 times.

still, i think some of those defensive subs didn't help too much. it's not their style to defend, and they eventually paid the price.
