I'm sure there are many, but people simply don't pay attention to them because it doesn't fit the narrative. The same way Inda fans don't look at the things that go against us. I think it's bit selective when we laugh at our domestic rivals making these claims and then start making the same claims the first chance we get, I don't see a difference between the two.
Are there? I'd be willing to change my mind if anyone knows of any.
I give credit to Real Madrid as they have had quality and nasty players, winners, and you cannot win three in a row without those things. But I'd also argue that you'd struggle to win even one if you suffered a big decision in a knock-out game.
I also agree with the sentiment that you can even things over a season but in two legs or a final it's far more decisive. I don't think there's anything stupid about that, it's basic common sense. If you take the Benatia foul in the last minute as an example, how can that be as decisive as conceding a penalty in round 14 of Serie A?
I'm not really interested in the Inter/FIF argument, Real Madrid are not a team we have decades of animosity and conspiracy theories against. It's something strange that many people outside of Tuz have pointed out. They could all be jealous and bitter, but I doubt it. There is something to be said for big teams getting decisions in leagues. I saw it with my own eyes for years with Man Utd because of the way they played, the characters they had and the pressure they put officials under, and you could make arguments against other massive teams, including our own. Perhaps it's just common sense and human nature. So it's not unreasonable to suggest that the 13-time winners and pioneers of this competition hold a little more sway than your average team. Certainly more than a little club from Bergamo.
