Our cycle have ended, we got a chance two times during that period and bottled them both. We are now in the Tici era.
I wouldn't say we bottled 2015/17, first time up against one of the greatest front 3's of all time and second against a team with peak Ronaldo and much much higher quality depth. Luck wasn't on our side either (no pen on Pogba, Chiello missing the game, deflected first goal in Cardiff, etc.). It's just unfortunate our peak coincided with those 2 freaks being at the height of their powers. 2003 was a bottle job.

2003, 1998, 1997, 1983, we should have won. We choked. 2015 we overachieved but could have won still, if the pen on Pogba was given. 2017 we were outclassed, no bench, injuries and fatigue ruined the little chance we had

Wasn't 2003 very even? I mean Milan had a really strong team on paper, not to say Juve didn't have so as well. But I think they had an even stronger team, at least that's how I remember it.

Juventus won the league that year too and also had a harder road to qualify for the final. Juventus were a more well rounded team imo.
If Nedved wasn't suspended, we'd have surely won that final.

Paper dont tell all. Milan was struggling that season and finished 5th i think, while we were in top form. Momentum was really on our side and we should have won that. Well, it is what it is :(
Thanks for the info, then it makes more sense. And with the road Juve had to the final and the form of the two teams is it understandable Juve were considered the favorite.

I am jealous of Inter

At least they were able to end their miserable little era from 2007-2010 with a CL title

The end of our chapter was getting knocked out by Lyon
