Nah. People need to stop exaggerating and revising the past.

His first 3 years we peaked in the perfect time of year, both tactically and in terms of fitness. Sure we had the occasional injury (what team doesn't?), but we were mostly at full strength for the CL knockout run and in great shape. The last two seasons, the number of muscular injuries, out of form, and out of shape players in march was ridiculous.
In his second season we had a lot of injuries too. We had so many people missing in that second leg against Bayern iirc.

We still fucked up majorly, still can't believe how unprepared and physically and mentally drained we went into that second game. So unlike Juve.

However, what Ajax has done, eliminating the 2 teams that many thought could win it all beforehand and dominating them both home and away, and then repeating it in the semi-final, is nothing but remarkable. This will go down as maybe the best campaign a team ever had in the CL while being one of the most fun and exciting teams to watch.

I know the roids messed with your brain, but even a brain fart can see that this Ajax team is not even among the six best teams in Europe (and I’m being nice here). Not even a fluke CL season can change that. Ajax stand no chance in winning the trophy.
Next season they will go back to being mediocre.

We had injuries coming out of january... but not these same muscular fatigue type injuries so prevalent these last two years. And our non-injured players were actually in good shape that year. That year we had quite the peak, winning 26 straight or whatever to climb back into the serie a race and win, and to come back and spank Bayern if not for Morata's perfectly onside goal being disallowed, and Evra's total brainfart.

Our fitness has been a disaster since Cardiff. We look so out of shape these last two years.

Really? Us throwing away CL a tie when in a great position seems very Juve to me.

So our style of play isn't a problem in champions League

Our poor style of play is a direct result of out of form, unfit players... Even if we don't like the style, it's been quite successful during years 1-3 of Allegri, but the last two years have been a disaster because our players looked gassed 15 minutes into matches, get run off the pitch, and can't complete simple passes...

Exactly. Our two last season have been the exactly opposite of how Allegri normally set up the season. That’s also why I’m in favour of replacing him when the right opportunity appears.
