United gonna be in big trouble when they sell De Gea to Real Madrid, he saves them again and again.

Tonight he wasnt on his best, and it showed pretty well how vital that was.

I always liked Montella from the bunch of average Italian coaches. I think he's quite good but chocked at Milan bcause... Milan.

If we ever had to pick a new coach, and it had to be an Italian, I'd surely put him somewhere on the top.
Hopefully not. He can't organise a defense.

Sevilla are really bad - also under Montella.
5th in Spain and 1/4 in the CL is quite a good result imo.

I also wouldn't underestimate them in case we face them next. Their pace ain't so high as Tottenham's (perhaps) but their technique is solid. Anyway, while I'm at it, I wouldn't underestimate any opponent at this point. It's 1/4 and they will all fight to death out there.

I really thought after having all 5 teams top their groups that this would be the year of BPL dominance...
They had easy groups, and mostly easy draws, aside from Chelsea and Tottenham.

United had a group of Basel, CSKA, Benfica. Then drew Sevilla in Rof16

Liverpool had a group of Sevilla, Spartak, Maribor. Then drew Porto in Rof16

ManCity had a group of Napoli, Shaktar, Feyenoord. Then drew Basel in Rof16.

None of those teams have faced a decent opponent in CL yet. Somehow United still lost.

And the two sides that have played good teams, both in group and in Rof16 are out. (assuming Chelsea goes out)

Bit of a joke the competition United and Liverpool got to face through 8 CL matches.

I doubt I'd pick him in a top 10 of Italian coaches. His teams can play good football at times but he's no tactician, pretty weak mentality.

I've noticed his teams tend to do better in European football than the domestic games, probably because it's generally a more open game (at least as far as Serie A is concerned).

He was terrible, so many terrible passes and he cant be arsed to do consistent defending and tracking back.
Complete fraud. £90m? Jesus Christ.
Actually wouldn't care if he left. He has no fight in him
I generally defend him but that was inexcusable and utterly disgraceful
This man doesn't know a single thing about positioning
Fellaini might've been terrible but at least the man knows where he should be and where he should go on the pitch.
Waste of fecking space, sooner he fecks off to Madrid the better
Genuinely embarrassing performance
Well done Juventus, what a great piece of business that was from them...
I thought Fellaini was poor, then I saw this guy
Fecking useless
:touched:
