There will be teams from other countries winning the CL, as it was the case when EPL was the strongest league from 2006-2012 or so. But those teams in England are only getting richer and they are buying the best players and managers. Sooner or later it will show and again they'll start having 3 or 4 teams in CL quarters, or 2-3 teams in the semis. Soon there will be no Ronaldo-Messi. In 3-4 years, EPL will overtake La Liga in UEFA coefficients. It's inevitable.
EPL ia shit but when all the top teams keep spending 200m every season, they are bound to stumble into a good team at some point. Put enough monkeys next to a typewritter and eventually they'll write shakespeare.

We can beat them, but damn we are $#@!ing up everytime we meet them. Making those $#@! ups on this stage means exit 9 out 10 times.

When are Bayern replacing Robbery? They are mid 30s. You cant expect to rely on them to make difference. And who you have lined up? Is that Goretzka guy going to play where?
should have happened 2-3 years ago. they thought Costa would be it but got rid of him after 2 years. should have went out and spent the money on 2 WC wingers in their prime, to make the transition from Robbery to Gnarby and Coman smoother

Of course Real and Barca can spend a lot and they can buy top players. Creating a winning team for the CL will not be that easy, though, as shown over the years by PSG and the richest English teams. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't. Real had such buying power since forever, yet they wasted some 12 years until they finally made a CL final. I'm betting on the EPL teams because they already started their projects 3-5 years ago, they have the money, and there are so many of them, so 2-3 are bound to go far in CL every year.
In the following 5 years or so, there won't be seasons like 2012/13, 2014/15, 2015/16 or 2016/17, when only 1 or zero EPL teams made the quarters. Numerically they will dominate the knockout rounds.

I hope Goretzka has what it takes to play for a club of Bayerns stature, lets see. About Robbery, one of the reasons they havent been replaced is because of bad work from the board.

The Bayern board are usually doing a great job, but they didnt get any serious replacements for these two, even though it should have happened 3 years ago or just some to compete with them.

I think Barca are gonna have a hard time in the coming years, Messi getting older, Suarez getting older, mediocre midfield (looking at their usual standards the last 10 years or more), and the loss of Neymar.

Was it you who said PL will be on the rise again? I kinda agree with that. They have the money and its all a cyclus in football.

The thing is Ribery and Robben have carried us to so much succes, so it will be hard to replace them 1-1. Coman is doing an excellent job, but is out with an injury and then we get Gnabry in who had a great season for Hoffenheim.

None of those two are world beaters, but well Bayern fans gotta put their faith in both. Maybe we will go out with the big wallet in the summer and look for yet another world class winger, I would be glad.
Coutinho replaces Iniesta.

They need 1-2 smart signings in the summer.

Alaba out and Heynckes choses a RB who $#@!s up the game for you guys over him. says all you need to know really

Pep and his mediocre spaniards :inter:
Yes true, but honestly even with Rafinhas fuck up I trust him way more than Bernat  With Bernat we would have played 10 vs 11 from the start.

He would have left a free "autobahn" down the left hand side.

You guys needs to find a way to stop controlling that ball from the back. Pass less at the back and more in their half imo

They tried, but Real was good at stressing the ball playing CB´s. When Hummels got the ball trough to the midfield, they mostly had a free space to run and could attack Madrid with dangerous balls trough. It happened 3-4 times, but didnt resolve in a goal.

They tried, but it didn't work (Costa, Coman, maybe someone else?). Ribery and Robben were so good and instrumental for your team, that it's hard to replace only one of them, even harder to replace both. I mean, even if you can freely pick from all the wingers in the world, it won't be that easy to find two to replicate their contribution from 5-6 years ago. Bayern might be forced to completely change tactics with Robben and Ribery retiring.

Yeah true. I even wrote some of the same not long ago, that replacing Robbery 1-1 is a nearly impossible task.

How optimistic u are about Kovac. Seems like a gamble to me. Also does he have enough authority.

Lewa still hasnt reach final since leaving Dortmund. Is the Real move link still on? ZZ even dropped his favorite in Benzema who has 5 league goals and we are in late april.

The last time they hired a Croatian coach, that guy started from scratch (Bayern were in Bundesliga 2) and created a young team from some unknown guys named Beckenbauer, Gerd Muller and Sepp Maier :D

Kovac is an open question. Most fans have written him off already, but I hope he can surprise. The thing is, he played for Bayern Munich and knows the enormous pressure there always is on the club, the expectations and so - like I said before, except for Real Madrid you dont find a club with more pressure than Bayern, its really immense. That is the positive thing, and he also got some coaching experience already by managing first Croatian NT and there after Frankfurt.

Lewa has been more than mediocre in this years CL. Against Sevilla no goals, and today he was shit. As good as he was in CL from 2012-2017, this season he has been awful. Dont know if he still want the Real move, if so he gotta show more than this shit lol.
Not the most experienced manager, but lets see.

Only ones i can think of that may want to try new pastures are Hazard, Bale, Insigne?

Maybe that Malcolm of bourdeax would be worth a shot.
