I found that internet contributed a lot to hating teams because you get connected to their fanbases and most of the time you hate teams because you hate a fanbase. In the 2000s, before my family emigrated to Germany, we didn't have internet in croatia and only black and white TV so I was much more relaxed and enjoyed KO games as they came. I miss those times and I believe this is how normies watch football these days. I am just bitter and angry 99% of the time
True which is why the internet is blamed for the rise of extremism in the political world too lol. Having said that, honestly, its because I don't really see the Serie A teams as rivals too be honest. Or maybe because winning the CL team is more important. Here in England, they tend to hate their English rivals more than anything, but I think it has to do with their competitive nature of their league.

for years I've been thinking that Ronaldo plays for Juve in the 90s, team with black&grey stripes against team with black&grey stripes

and in 2003 I had my rich uncle from America send a letter to our village stating the winner of CL final because you couldnt tell milan and juve apart

He could have killed Roma off today. Instead he subs off Salah and gived them hope. Sure, they still need a 3-0 win, so pretty much a miracle right? Except they just beat fucking Barcelona 3-0.

Keep in mind Liverpool were in panic after Roma scored the second. Roma could easily have got the third goal.
