I wonder what Madrid has to do in order to earn respect from some people. 3 CL titles in 4 years, and knocked out 3-2 by us in the SFs in 14-15 or it might be 4 in a row. Yet somehow, each year, we get people saying they don't look that good, this or that team is far better, and so on.
It has something to do with the fact they don't seem to care much in the group stage and have been rather lethargic there, but you would think that people would realize they are timing their peak for the latter rounds of the knockouts when it really matters.

They are the most ruthless and clinical team of the modern CL era in big matches. And they are led up front by an absolute machine. And they have a backline that always seem to rise to the occasion, and provide just enough steadiness and support to let their insane midfield and attack do their thing. Even their keeper comes up with fantastic timely saves. Like the diving save he made on Pjanic's great shot early in the final last year, or the reaction save he made on Higgy yesterday.
