Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that possession-based football doesn't equate to winning like some have suggested. Chelsea have dominated the chances in this match as well while ceding 70% possession to Barca.
Against top teams Allegri is always more aggressive than usual. Usually we go for the 4-2-3-1. We played 4-3-3 for two months and against Spurs switched to a more aggressive shape and couldn't win the midfield.
We wilted in the 2nd half against Madrid with the same formation because we don't have the numbers to get the ball back in midfield.
