Andrea Pirlo is certain that Juventus can reverse the result from the 2015 Champions League final that saw the Blaugrana come out 3-1 winners.

The match will be remembered as Pirlo’s last match for the club as he moved onto MLS to play for New York City FC, but that hasn’t stopped the player from watching Juventus and keeping in touch with his friends on the team. Pirlo had this to say about the Bianconeri’s chances against Barcelona in 3 weeks time:

“It will be a different tie compared to two years ago, Juventus have changed and this is a different Barcelona. In addition, they’re not playing a final this time, but two games over 180 minutes in which I think we’ll see some good football,” in an interview with Sport.

“Juve have a very strong team, and if you want to reach the final you need to play against the best teams. I don’t think Juve are a team under construction, they have great players and they’re trying to find the right balance for the four strikers. This Juve have the capacity to knock Barcelona out.”

At first he flirted with Union and now its us. That said, if we knock out Barcelona then imagine the number of WC players who would want to play for us. :tuttosport: imagine...

Barcelona want Allegri (Premium Sport)
Barcelona want Dybala (Mundo Deportivo)
Barcelona want Verratti (CdS)

In one day.

Anyone would think we just drew Barcelona in the CL. Parasites.
