It's not about the coefficients, but it'd be good for the image and prestige of Italian football.

As long as other Italian teams don't perform in Europe, Serie A won't stop being a Mickey League in the eye of fans.

The economic benefits are obvious, too.
Plus Napoli will have more to worry about during the next few months, meaning they'll do less well in domestics comps

The only reason to root for Nipples is that they present an easier potential draw for Juve in the 1/4s. With the psychological hold we have over other Italian sides we would absolutely crush them.

Besides that, fuck them and fuck the coefficient

Madrid don't really deserve to be 5-2 up on aggregate. They are hardly convincing. I hope they draw Bayern and get $#@!d in the next round. Can't stand their immense luck which led them to the title last year.
Real madrid are the main actors of this show called "the champions league".
They are destined to win, as the main actor in every movie.

yeh, i dont understand the stupidity of some. Thinking like napoli fans would think.

We have to drop 11 points in the next two months, and they have to win every single match for the rest of the season for them to beat us to the Scudetto.

What are the chances both of those happening at the same time, never mind one happening more than the other.

Advancing in the champions league would give them a confidence boost that would out weigh the physical drain of occasional midweek matches imo
And theres where we show what we are made of instead of panicking and put them in their place.

If we are good that is.

They don't? They should have been up 5-2 after the first leg if both teams were competent at finishing.
Honestly, they don't. They look sluggish at times, and incredibly unconvincing. Their defense is still shit, and they have that bonehead Pepe in defense. If they play against a team that is compact, experienced, and possesses European pedigree, they'll be found out. Zidane is fortunate to be in the position he is in, because I don't rate him as a coach.

Nonsense.

Napoli isn't a relevant team for Serie A strength.

The two Milans and Roma are the 3 teams that one could theoretically claim need to be strong for Serie A to gain prestige and respect again.

But it's all irrelevant. I could care less if they win or lose in these rounds. I'm not going to cheer for them regardless, and at the same time I'm not going to be upset if they win. And I will laugh at them when they get spanked.

Today, certainly. They look terrible.

Last match they destroyed Napoli and managed to score 3 goals, even with terrible finishing.
