Juve climb UEFA rankings
By Football Italia staff

Juventus have climbed into second place in this season’s UEFA rankings, second only to Atletico Madrid.

Their 2-0 victory away to Porto, who had been unbeaten on home turf since April 2016, left them with one foot in the Champions League quarter-finals.

It also allowed the Bianconeri to push up the seasonal UEFA club ranking to second place on 23.383 points.

Atletico Madrid lead on 23.914 points, but Juventus have now surpassed Real Madrid on 22.914 and Paris Saint-Germain’s 22.283.

When looking beyond this season to the more general UEFA club ranking, Juventus are in fifth place behind Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

It would be glorious if Leicester City win the whole thing
Nothing glorious about that. Leicester City were abysmal against Sevilla, and should have shipped 4 goals. Lucky cunts with that bricklayer Vardy leading the line. I'd be mighty pissed if we ended up missing out, and a shit team like Leicester won it. Moreover, we won't hear the end of it from the EPL brigade. Leicester might squeeze into the QFs, but that is where their journey should and will end.

So on a serious note, how does everyone rank Juve's chances of winning the champions league this season if you had to rank the top 5 favourites?
I predicted this last season. Treble. Back to back, treble. I'm dead serious. There isn't a season where I don't think we can win treble.

We are more balanced, experienced, and superior to sides like City and Dortmund, that's for sure.

Since Barca are all but out, I'd say we have a very decent chance. We are slightly behind the likes of Bayern and Madrid, and perhaps slightly ahead of PSG and ATM. We are definitely in the top 5, and possibly top 3 contenders to lift the trophy come May.

One of Bayern, Real, Juve.
Bayern vs Real, and City vs ATM in the QFs. Sevilla get PSG, and we get Benfica :klin: :donedeal:

I'd put them at number 1, not 4! They have the best coach, insane depth, and they haven't even started playing at their best. For me, they are the favorites.
Good, good. I put them fourth behind three very strong teams, doesn't mean I don't rate them or think they can't win it. I feel Juve and Atletico are the most motivated teams in this years competition and Real has crazy consistency and experience in Europe. To be honest it's very difficult to but these teams in any order the CL this year seems more even than for a long time.
