to some degree. UEFA does what it can to ensure their favorable outcome with draws and referee decisions if needed. but doesent always work when teams like Bayern 2013 come around
Why did Van Persie get a yellow card and consequently a red card for scoring after the referee whistled offside but Messi didn't when he scored that disallowed goal against us last week?
I cannot answer why because I don't know why the referees repeatedly influence CL games.
