Wrong as far as decision making yes it was wrong to open the eastern front, but to suggest the russians won the war: gimme a break, where were they in the pacific, north africa, middle east? If we truly look for that one nation that threw off the balance and swung the pendulum the other way it is uncontestably the US.
Wrong. The Russians did more to bring down the Germans than any other country.

as for the battle of the bulge, only a matter of time, germany was going for total war; russians were ok sacrificing soldiers by the million.
No one is denying that, but does that discount that it worked or their strategy was flawed? If the US was in a war with China and we lost 100K and they lost 100M, but they win, then they win.... It doesn't matter how many you lose if the end result is what you want....
Russia wasn't involved in the Battle of the Bulge.
I think he knows that, he's just making a general statement.

Why you talk about it? north africa, middle east - these areas didnt play big role in war, if not Russia Hitler in 1946(after he conquer all europe) would be in Washington pissed on Statue of Liberty..

All what americans did in WWII were showing all the world how cruel they can be.. You see americans are very selfish, they making movies about "bad japanese" who bombed Perl Harbor, but they dont want to make movie about their "Nuclear Present" for Japan

i meant berlin was going to fall regardless, it was a matter of time. Russia chose to dedicate more to get there sooner.

Well that's true. Of course the amount of Americans being murdered in Dauchau, Auschwitz, et cetera, were minimal in comparison to the Russians and Soviet controlled Western Republics.

YOU WILL SAY THAT WE STARTED?? THIS IS JOKE!!! WE KNEW RUSSIA WOULD AUTOMATICALLY SUPORT THEM!

ARMED FORCES COMPARED

GEORGIA

Total personnel: 26,900
Main battle tanks (T-72): 82
Armoured personnel carriers: 139
Combat aircraft (Su-25): Seven
Heavy artillery pieces (including Grad rocket launchers): 95

RUSSIA

Total personnel: 641,000
Main battle tanks (various): 6,717
Armoured personnel carriers: 6,388
Combat aircraft (various): 1,206
Heavy artillery pieces (various): 7,550
Source: Jane's Sentinel Country Risk Assessments
in term of armed firepower, Georgia is a big disadvantage, russia would destroy your armed forces, dont know how this is working out
