    Turks are on your side kostarica.
    I KNOW MAN! THANKS! WE ARE BROTHERS!

    I haven't heard about 80 tanks destroyed (actually I doubt 80 tanks probably more like 20) but I have heard about the Russian fighters. Moreover, I also doubt the huge casualties you're talking about, because they have by far the superior army. And even if they did have so many deaths, they could easily send in more troops within a day.

    I don't want this on your people, koSTARica, but this doesn't look good at all. However, I'm more on Georgia's side, that's for sure. Not because I like you lot, but because there are many around the world that would support killing innocent people just because the winners are against the US.
    You dont get the essence of the problem!

    Now its clear for everyone what this war is about! Russians are simply ocuping the territories. They used Ossethians and Abkhazians just to spark it;

    They are telling that they care about ossethians and thats why they are doing it... but they BOMBED THE WHOLE OSETHIA, and KILLED SO MANY PEOPLE!
    They are Bombing NOT ONLY IN THE CONFLICT ZONE (this is very important) BUT ALL OVER! NEAR TBILISI ALSO!

    NOW JUST TO VERIFY THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE RUSSIA:

    THE WHOLE WORLD STAND BY US, AND ARE ENCOURAGING THE END OF BOMBING; BUT ON THE OTHER HAND, THERE HAVENT BEEN ONE SINGLE RUSSIAN TO COME UP AND SAY "WHAT ARE WE DOING STOP IT" EVEN THE RUSSIAN CHURCH AIN SAYING SINGLE WORD! (We are both Christian orthodoxes and very bound!) (EVEN POPE DEVOTED HIS SPEECH!

    THIS IS VERY SIMPLE PEOPLEHOW CANT YOU UNDERSTAND RUSSIANS ARE BOMBIN A SOVEREIGN COUNTRY! IF THEY GET WITH THIS AWAY YOU CAN IMAGINE THE CONSEQUENSES!

    THEY ARE DOIN SAME THING OVER CENTURIES!!! SAME RUSSIA!!! COUNTRY DOESNT CHANGE!!!

    JUST THINK ABOUT IT! Now I'm at home (was outside protesting at the embassy) NO PANIC BUT IF A BOMB FALLS ON MY HOUSE DONT BE SURPRISED!

    P E A C E!!!!!!!!!!!

    I think Georgia were tricked into this by the West. And if that were true they need to fix it. What were they thinking attacking Russia!
    Dumb move and now innocent people have to die. A huge part of the blame is on Georgia
    Are u serious??? Really. Please people just think!!!!

    Putin is the new Hitler of our decade and i really think whether you agree or disagree that he is willing to do his utmost to bring back the rebirth of the USSR, he wants to make Russia a superpower again, you just wait, they meddle in Ukraine, Georgia, Bellarussia is already theres handed to them on a silver platter, there next target will soon show up, its gonna take time but theyr working on there ideology.

    COULDNT FORMULATE BETTER! IT IS SO EVIDEN THAT I DONT KNOW ONLY RUSSIANS CANNOT SEE. THERE IS 0.000001%v democracy in RUSSIA!
    PUTIN HAS PERSONALL ISSUES WITH GEORGIA, THERE IS NO ONE TO OPPOSE HIS DECISIONS IN RUSSIA!

    THANK YOU ALL!!

    Sorry for the capital letters and stuff.

    P.S. Andy come on I think different way about you, I think your intellectual level does stand above statistical average of RUSSIAN citizen :)

    koSTARica
    I think It's not important to get the support from forum members :D so calm down please and stop making this panic around my friend or entertain yourself with anything else, but not calling these peaceful people for helping you :D
    It is very important to get support, this forum wont get much attention, but one members tells his friend, then his friend and so on...

    It is critical to create awareness

    This is russia!:

    Georgia move fails to halt raids

    Georgian soldier looks from a vehicle while heading to the town of Gori, Georgia
    Georgia insists that all its forces are now outside South Ossetia

    Russia has continued air raids deep inside Georgia, after it rejected Tbilisi's announcement that it had called a ceasefire and wanted talks.

    Kostarica, it's really simple. Your government was getting too chummy with the US and since there's already tension between you two, Russia decided to help the rebels in Ossetia just to f*ck with y'all. So long as you're neighbors with Russia you have to abide by their rules that's the message Russia is sending to you.

    hehe and the point? THey behave like this with all neighbours!!! Do you know other precedents? All baltic countries etc...

    RED ARMY IS COMING! FOR REAL!

    Why would we stand by russia? we do not hate them, just its about direction, we want to move to west, to democracy and they are moving towards anexions (its them who took away abkazia and osethia 15 years ago same situation exactly, moe agressive) ,Tirania and dictatorship; Russian citizens have become zombies, just look that no one expresses their concern about all this inside russia;

    PLEASE GUYS READ NON-RUSSIAN EDITIONS!

    I don't know if the Georgians were tricked or not but you'll be surprised if i tell you how many times the weaker parties were indeed tricked by other great powers to start a war against a superior opponent.
    Promising a help and then not helping is something that indeed happened a lot in the past 150 years.
    I know various big powers have tricked weaker nations into battle for various reasons, but I don't know about this case.

    This current case seems more like inevitability than anything else.

    They have been straight out tricked, they fell in the trap of the russians, more to develope, Georgia is like lebanon, but lebanese were more aware of there neighbours coniving its why we didnt see a big scale war against lebanon, instead they used inner forces which are allies of syria to do there dirty work, georgia on the other hand fell straight into that trap.

    God knows if the U.S didnt have anything to do with it either, prob tricked the russians into this who knows, only time will tell
    :lol2:

    So let me get this straight. Georgia were tricked into defending themselves from Russian influences, Russia was tricked into attacking Georgia by the United States by... uhhh... being an ally of Georgia? :confused:

    So who tricked the United States, considering this looks like an endless cycle?

    The New World Order?

    You dont get the essence of the problem!

    I know the Russians are bombing other cities outside of South Ossetia... go back and read my posts regarding Poti and the BTC Pipeline. They will probably strike Tbilisi once they're ready as well.

    Of course the Russians used their "peacekeepers" to just sit their and walk around as targets so once they were threatened, Moscow would have an excuse to go in there and break up the country. That's also why they handed out passports and incentives to the Ossetians within the borders of Georgia.

    You're right, I don't understand this conflict. But perhaps one day everyone will if this escalates into something more.

    So Georgia should throw away their alliance with the US just because they sit right next to Russia?

    You know, the whole point of independence from the Soviet Union in 1991 is to be independent. Throw away your anti-US glasses for just one second please.

    YEah ANDY thisis indeed very simple; You dont need to get into roots of history between Georgia and Osethia;
    e.g. in Abkhazia there are about 100 000 people, before war there were 300 000 Georgians for centuries; (I'm not even mentioning the territorial belongings etc.) Now tell me who has to decide the future of Abkhazia with Georgia or not? 1/4 of population? :)

    This is Simple RUSSIANS HAVE BEEN and ARE ANEXORS and OCCUPANTS!!! They have taken territories before, the most famous is SOCHI where olympics are to be held it was 100% Georgia!

    THEY JUST WONT LEAVE US ALONE, THEY DONT HAVE INTERNAL PROBLEMS, THEY ALWAYS HAVE TIME FOR US :) MOTHEFUCKERS!!!

    Just think about what I wrore in previous posts that even Russian CHURCH dint express their worries about all his, and even intelligence;

    FUCK THEM! We have survived more horrible attacks, and we stand UNITED even that they have 700 000 army;

    It's not about should or should-not's. They have no say in it because they're powerless. Russia knows the US isn't going to get involved.

    I'm merely stating the situation as I see it without an opinion, so there's no need for me throw away my so called anti-US glasses.

    Georgia has huge importance to both the US and Russia so it's a shaky area of the world. Russia is naturally going to do what it can to keep its interests in the region. Russia isn't going to sit idly by while there is a pro-US government in Georgia.

    All this independence shit is non-sense. Leaders have become smarter over the last 100 years. There no longer is a need to physically possess a nation in order to have influence in it. You give nations their independence in order to set up a facade of sovereignty and you control the nation like puppeteers.

    The US has it's puppets and Russia has their own.

    Alright this thread is getting out of hand.

    Kostarica and delpierofan82: One more word about the Russian people or capital letters and this thread is closed and no more double posting (use the mutliquote feature), I'm getting a bit tired of merging your posts.
