Massimo Carrera was the epitome of calmness as he discussed Wednesday night’s Champions League bow against Chelsea.
The first-team coach has enjoyed a sensational start to life in the Juventus dugout and insists tomorrow’s clash at Stamford Bridge will be business as usual for the buoyant Bianconeri.
Carrera began: “It will be like a normal game as far as I’m concerned. We’re back in Europe and we’re very proud to be playing against the current holders. It’s an important testing ground for us.”
Despite the Old Lady opening the campaign with three consecutive victories, the 48-year-old reiterated the need for continual focus and meticulous preparation on the training ground.
“We still need to work and improve. We saw the video of the Genoa game and studied the errors committed. We’ll try and cut those out. Even more so in light of tomorrow’s game against a strong side like Chelsea.”
