The thing is, we wouldn't sign Higuain or Jovetic on a 3 year deal. No way. Tevez is more likely due to his age.

1 year extra on the contract could cost Juventus ~10M dollars.

But I never accounted for resale value so thats a good point.
And that is an extra year of output from the player. The contract length should be kept the same when comparing them.

you're nuts..tevez beats both higuain and jojo at speed...
OMFG, what ??

Do you even know Higuain ?? Did you even see him play ?

OMFG.

Tevez has a medium pace and good acceleration, bit more then jovetic.

But Higuain ? did you even saw Higuain ????
He's first 10 meter burst speed is nearly as fast as ronaldo, and i dont know any central forward thats faster then him.

One of Higuain's best attributes is his ability to burst past his defender, and totally burn the first 10 meters, making a gab the defender doesnt close.

i dont know about striker, but hes amazeballs
He was. He was tremendously good. But he seems in decline. Seems his fire is slowly fading. Not sure if italy will help that.

2/3 years ago, Higuain-Tevez, what a combination they'd be. just ... wow....

I obviously disagree
On what point ?

- Higuain has much better burst, and better topspeed.
- Tevez top 3 forward for like years, untill 2 years ago
- However the last two years, he has fewer and fewer great games
- He is in decline, whilst strikers should peak at 29

- - - Updated - - -

Tevez is willing to take a pay-cut in order to join Juventus.
- Sky
Thats bullshit. Really.

Tevez doesnt like europe at all. He has allways beenvery honest and vocal about it, and is here for riches and to a lesser extend glory. However he used to allways play 500%

However, why would he suddenly cut his wages to join juventus whilst plenty of teams line up with his current or better wages ? If would be the reverse of what he has done all his life

I'm not sure I'd describe it as a decline until it is seen to continue at another club.

I obviously disagree
Out of interest, given Tevez's declared intention to return to Boca one day, approximately how much does Boca pay its top earners?

also he's not a striker, and with so much clog upfront in man city he doesnt have as much opportunities to play as he did 3 years ago.

I am starting to worry if Llorente and Jovetic will accept a bench role, or maybe we'll rotate them with Hig and Tevez..

:derp:

for someone like tevez? at least 2 mil
Ta.

Just occured to me when people are speaking about Tevez taking a pay cut that I didn't know what Boca were in a position to pay - and if coming down within Juve's wage range would cause Tevez to think he might as well forego a little more to go back to Argentina.

Anyway, that answers my musing since that's still a big drop down even from what Juve could pay.
