I'm a lifelong Manchester City fan, with them being my local team, but Juve have been my 'other' team since the mid-90's when as a young boy I'd sit and watch the Sunday afternoon coverage of Italian football and fell in love with the functional perfection of Juve. Anyway, I've browsed the forum for a while without ever getting around to joining, but today's news regarding Tevez has forced me into action.
Despite all of the 'stars' we have at City the one truly great player we have is Tevez, the real match-winner and while it would be a shame to see him leave City, I'm buzzing at prospect of him joining Juve. He's the perfect centreforward for our style of play and has at least 4 years left at the top level, and will provide that necessary step up in class to re-establish ourselves in Europe.

My partner works for Manchester United and rumours within the club have linked Rooney with a move to
Juve, as Nike are taking an active part in his next move and want him to continue to play for one of their affiliated clubs. Make of that what you will.
Are you by any chance Nicholas' homosexual partner?

No doubt. However, I'd rather go after realistic/solid targets than chasing shadows all summer though :D

Van Persie? Aguero? Even Dzeko? Let's stick to what we can get, instead of dreaming about what we can't achieve :p

I don't think Higuain and Jovetic are far off that list tbh :p

Tevez is also 29 years old, and on mad wages.

Higuain + JoJo's wages combined would still be less than Tevez currently commands.
After all the amount you're abusing half our signings for not being good enough, you'd seriously question Tevez's signings? Hes better an anything weve been linked with bar, Ibra. Common, B.

It’s claimed Manchester City star Carlos Tevez has turned down Monaco and his agent is in Italy for talks with Juventus.
The Argentine seems set to leave the Premier League at the end of the season, as his contract expires in 2014, and is looking to keep his €10m per season wages.
He had been in talks with newly-promoted French club Monaco, who have Claudio Ranieri on the bench, but new reports suggest the deal fell through.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tevez’s agent Adrian Rouco is already in Italy to discuss a move with Juventus.
The Bianconeri would propose a three-year contract worth a total €18m plus performance-related bonuses.
He would be the 'top player’ they are looking for to reinforce the attack and had already been heavily linked with a move to Serie A last year.
Manchester City have requested Arturo Vidal as part of the Tevez deal, but Juve have made it clear the Chilean is absolutely not for sale.
