«A couple of years ago I nearly went to Juve. People spoke to me about Turin, and said it is this and it is that, but Milan would be nicer. I said 'I'm not going for the bloody shops; I'm going because it's Juventus.»

Milan is Milan, not only shops.
Turin is an industrial boring city (so I've heard many say), Juve is the only thing great about it and its proximity to the Alps.
Thats really bullshit man! Turin is such a lovely city, been there 3 times already and I can say the only thing Milano got on Torino is the Duomo area and some fancy shops!

Nope, I ve been in both cities! Have you ever been in either Milano or Torino? I can say Torino is a way better for living!
What I meant is, you need to take someone who's NOT a fan of either Juver or Milan, make them visit both cities and then ask their opinion.
Those kind of people are the majority of tourists, and those obviously choose Milan as a destination.

Milan is a filthy, overcrowded, dirty polluted shithole.

Torino is more quiet, less filthy and crowded, and has a beautiful setting at the foot of the Alps and has everything that Milan has besides the "fashion" tag. Great restaurants, musuems, bars/pubs etc.

Ive got relatives in both Turin and Milan so Ive been to both cities a few times and Id say Turin is a much nicer place to live in.
