While I agree he has immense talent, what really makes you guys think we'll sign him? Remember Cassano? We passed up on the opportunity of getting him for free cos he threw a hissy fit. You really think we'll do different for someone who's far worse?

Just close this thread already.

argie lame-o? are you seriously going to compare tevez to marchisio?? and you saying hes 'most unprofessional' proves you dont watch him, no one in city runs more than tevez.
Not comparing the players, foo. I'm highlighting your bias.

Yeah, I used to reach to work early everyday and work my ass off. Doesn't matter that I flipped my boss off and told him I don't feel to work today because he offended me and went public on numerous about how unhappy I was working at the company and want to leave. All that is fine, absolutely professional and model behaviour.

The guy works harder than anyone when he's on the pitch. He wasn't the captain of Man City last year because he was unprofessional, the guy is a fighter and a worker, not to mention incredibly gifted with the football.

He becomes a bit of a liability when he isn't a starter, but do we want that or someone like Amauri who falls out with people because he cant be on the bench. If his Mrs moved to Italy then I could easily see him settling down

And then what happened?

Yayay. Bring Balotelli too.

I can't believe none of this matters to you people.

you re neither a world class player nor were you the premiereship top scorer, he wants to leave he doesnt like manchester whatever his reason it's his right just like a team can make a player train with their youth squad if they wanna get rid of him, it;s a 2 way street, the only unprofessional thing he did was refusing to play which is a pretty big deal but to say hes 'most unprofessional' puhlease, once again stop talking about players/teams you only read about

when fans here complain about the lack of quality in our squad, ill re visit this thread and laugh at those who declined tevez, only to moan later, and curse marotta in his incapabilities.
Yes, because we are actually linked with Tevez and he's the only quality player out there.

Did you ask yourself why such a quality player is even a remote possibility for us now? Why don't other big clubs want him? Because he's an idiot.

im sure Conte is already on the phone to marotta to snap him up, and if we do end up making contact over a possible move, we would be idiotic to pass up on him, as a short term deal like man utd would be hugely beneficial. some of you have made your bed for future targets reading this thread, seriously the level of fickleness is just off the scales here.

I don't think that we are so much desperate for quality that we have to settle for everything that comes our way.

oh boy where were you this summer? even when we signed vucinic people were calling for marotta's head cause we didn't sign aguero, now a opportunity to sign someone of equal or even greater quality, and they reject the idea without a second thought, seriously i really can't comprehend wtf some people want or would make them happy around here, but its ok they still rate the marchisio's and elia's of this world though!

Errr... elaborate please.

And again. Why doesn't his greatness take him to a club that will challenge in Europe and will pay him more?
