And do you remember when we won all those games 1-0 in the CL?

When Zambrotta said that our aim, before everything else, was to keep a clean sheet every game. Which would inevitably lead to winning most games.

Not taking sides here, but depending on how you look at the game/current squad, you'll have different ideas & priorities in terms of personnel.
the current defence is probably just about enough to get us in the CL, not so much success in europe but thats another issue, but tough matches against stubborn sides are decided upon a moment of brilliance and quality which is what im trying to say with tevez, we know very well that beating these smaller sides are essential in our quest to attain a CL spot or dare i say the S word.

Man, in that season we were third, and Lippi resigned at the end of it. Our defence was the problem. When Capello came he imidiately bought Canavaro.
im not talking about the team that year as such, just using what they said as a reference point to milan's league win last season, they have 2 good centre backs, and from what we have seen so far this season barzagli and chiellini (asides from the odd off game) is still a very able defender, lichsteiner as we know already is consistant, just as much as abate is for milan so their defence last season had problems, but still won the league, but more to the point their success was largely down to the impact ibra had, we don't have a ibra or in another words a player of real quality that can decide matches, which is why im in full support for bringing tevez, cause he brings exactly that.

Nice try, but any way as much as Ibra had an impact it wouldn't mean anything if Gattuso, Nesta, Silva didn't play like possessed.

As long as you use those kind of names you are a kid.
And we played just five games so if that's enough to declare how our defence is solid you are even more stupid than I've tought. Nothing would please me more than to see us back on track again. Those few past years were very painful to watch. And if I'm stuck in the 90ies it's because we played probably the best football between 1995-1998. Screw Barcelona today, we would kill them back then.
You can side with who ever you want, it's not like it means much to me, I won't call you an idiot, won't bragg about education ( as you bragged with your highshool, I lold at that one for half an hour), in fact it doesn't interest me.
About kicking shit, well I'm 195 cm, 90 kg so you can give it a shot.
Kids say stuff, like 'no, you are'. Guess who kept saying that?

You know nothing. You make up false accusations, just like when you made up that badass said that Tevez>Zidane when he clearly didn't. Just point out to me where I said the defense was SOLID.

If you didn't know, it's kind of difficult to complete a university degree without first finishing high school, unless in your country they allow you fools like you into colleges without first going through school. But with the whole age being better thing, lucky when you're dead I'll be able to watch Juve win the 50th scudetto while you'll be in your grave. See, age has it's advantages doesn't it?

And I don't think you noticed but you called yourself shit. I lold for 45 minutes.

Also, nice editing of posts, but unlucky that you're too slow to come up with those edits 10 minutes earlier.

they didn't score the goals did they, they were not the players that unlocked the defences of stubborn teams?

besides as i said we have a able enough central pairing to do well, as for gattuso, we already have vidal

Gattuso was crap for half of the season. Nesta and Silva were their usual selves.

But you know back in the late 90s, who do you think won the matches? Players like Zidane and Del Piero who could change a match at any moment.

You obviously didn't watch last season.

They didn't concede much which was my point.

Yeah, you showed me with that one. Read more carefully.
How does that say the defence is SOLID? More like adequate. Read more carefully. Stop assuming.

You obviously didn't watch last season.
I got mixed up with Seedorf there. And with Nesta and Silva being their usual selves I meant their amazing usual selves. Read more carefully.

so far neither have we, i think im correct in saying that we have the best defensive record in the league atm
Again it's too early to say that. If 5 games are criterium we could say that we had best defence in 2009/10. You can keep repeating things over and over but what are our options in defence and are they valid one?

You are all mixed up. Nesta and Silva were usual themselves last year, world class. Think carefully.
What the fuck? I said that...Seems like you can't tell left from right and red from blue.

You have a very skewed and strange view of football. Some good LB>Tevez? Gio>Tevez? Aguero>Tevez? :sergio:

i would hardly say that the likes of bonera, zambrotta and antonelli are valid options in milan's defence, just as grosso, motta and de ceglie arn't for us.

yeah he just said that silva and nesta were great last season, somebody here is getting more confused than scooby doo
He said that they were usual, I said they were world class

Chiellini, Lichtsteiner, Barzagli and one of Bonucci, De Ceglie or Grosso. Seems pretty valid to me. Especially with Buffon behind.
