thing with cassano is that his attitude roots more to his poor upbringing as a child, rather than being a twat as tevez is. Anyhow i wouldn't say no to tevez, his immense quality will bring us up a level, for a short term deal it would work favorable for everyone involved, my only issue would be cutting down numbers of our strikers, in another words most likely going to have to sacrifice quags, which tbh im prepared to do if its for someone like tevez, love him or hate him, his qualities as a footballer are undenyable, and we wont get a opportunity like this one for a while, even if we did make the CL next season, i doubt we will buy anyone to rival his qualities.

Does anyone thing that we actually might have a chance of getting Tévez? I just can't tell, the "damaged goods" image helps.
No idea. I read somewhere that Man City confirmed Marotta tried to sign him this summer. If the price goes down because of his current situation we might try again.

Only because other big clubs wouldn't want him. Not that I think he'd want to come here or Conte and Marotta would want his deranged ass in the locker room.
I can imagine loan + option at end of the season for ~€20m, if anything. If Anzhi or Corinthians (if they can prove they can pay up to Man City) knock then I don't think we'll go for him, and compete with wages.

That would be
If that is the case, even if we don't sign him this guy can be decisive in qualifying for CL next season which going to do us a lot of good in the next summer mercato.

It's remarkable how you know all this.
it is fairly common knowledge about cassano's upbringing, saw his former bari manager as a father figure and looked up to totti when he was at roma, which he never had as a child etc... which is why i have always argued that Cassano would do well in a tranqil city like genoa (sampdoria) or even in Turin at Juventus where he would be more appreciated.

 yes that why dzeko sucked last year
Then tell me your reason for it? One of the most profilic strikers in bundesliga for past couple of seasons barely touched the ball when Tevez played, and now sudenly when Tevez is being benched he simply thrived. You will probably get me wrong and I'm not some Dzeko's fan. There are plenty of better forwards out there. I can't understand this obsession some members are having with Tevez like he is golden ball winner. It's quite laughable to me. The guy is scumbag and the worst kind of. I wouldn't let him play for our Primavera just to prevent him from corrupting them.

Wait, so Cassano's behaviour is due to his poor upbringing while Tevez is just a twat?

Was Tevez born in a rich family or am i missing something? I bet Tevez endured more difficulties during his upbringing than Cassano.

recap: correlation is causation, and tevez sucks at football because he's the worst kind of scumbag. Makes perfect sense.

Did Cassano say any of this or is just media speculation?

You probably haven't read carefully. Before I mentioned some reasons. I never said he sucks at football, I just said that he is egoistical, selfish, arrogant, pompous sob and that player with that character shouldn't wear our jersey. I also said that SAF as one of the best menagers realized all this and released him. You read very selectively and bring wrong conclusions.
