Yeah, exactly the same here tbh

For a low transferfee, i'd have considered him, even tho i dont like him, he was massive in the past, and him chosing us above rich teams might be great, showing he still has desire to do well

Then we wake up to find out what we knew all along. He's a mercenary and only here for the money, he doesnt give a damn about glory if the payment isnt right.

Going to monaco ? good luck getting benched by falcao, and beeing over 30 by the time they get in CL again. he's gonna burry his career there

your opinion on tevez was never valid, just look at your posts from 2-3 years ago. For a "scientist" these occasional biases you have are kinda funny

I really don't give a fuck anymore, I'd be happy with either. I hope people don't start fucking comparing the two players stats etc. There really is no need, either of them will considerably raise the level of our current woeful forward stocks.

He turned 29 this year, so we could get at least 3-4 WC years out of him. Even if we signed Higuain, I couldn't see him staying longer than 4-5 years.

Tevez would cost only around 15m, where as Higuain cost around 25m. We spent 15m on Mirko and he won't be worth that much now, but he's mostly done enough to warrant his transfer fee.

Didn't Tevez say he only wants Monaco or PSG?

"Il Monaco è uno dei più grandi club francesi, qualsiasi giocatore ci andrebbe. Hanno delle idee per il futuro che mi piacciono molto - dice l'argentino alla tv francese Tf1 - Ranieri? In questo momento si sta dimostrando un grande allenatore, uno dei migliori al mondo. Ho parlato anche con il PSG, ma non c'è stato un accordo. Se Leonardo dovesse convincermi, non avrei problemi a giocare a Parigi".

:trollol: he must be kidding haha

Guess what? I disagree. It isn't absolutely impossible to sign one good player, I think you've gone way too far with the Tévez + Jojo business. One has stupidly big wages, the other will have a very large transfer fee. Plenty of Juve fans entered last summer with a similar attitude before getting crushed by the reality of Bendtner in his stupid turtleneck.

I think one is possible. And I would be very happy with that, the rest of the budget will probably go to moving around squad players.
Too far?

Let me explain this a little better. Tevez has stupidly insane wages, but you have Marrotta claiming we could reach an agreement with the player. I don't think that agreement would come anywhere close if he wanted to remain on those wages. His transfer fee will be between 15-17m about 6-10m less than what we will perhaps pay for Higuain - closer to an amount that we signed Vucinic for.

Jovetic costs 30m, or so Fiorentina say. But do you reply think they can afford to hold out for that price when the player himself has a keen preference to play for the club? Look at Prade and AdV 's statements off late. It's so different from last year with regard to Juve. Obviously, they are aware of the option. Given that Jojo's wages won't be a problem and fall within our parameters, are you saying we cannot get the player by trading in one of our own forwards and 15m?

Tevez and Jojo can be bought for 30m in transfer fees. I stand by that. You are free to disagree, and since as fans we will never ever have official documentation from the club, we can only work with the information we have from direct quotes, reliable journalists and pieces of info that give us an idea of the possibilities. The mercato is long and we may still only end up with Higuain, but I do consider the possibilities this time around are immense if we play things right.

Diamanti isn't a top player, so that's impossible.
Marrotta's definition of top players tend to get more and more flexible as the mercato wears on. :D

I don't care about that interview TBH since I'm sure he would say the same if he was asked by Italian press about Juve, Inter or Milan.

But yeah that Ranieri part was obviously trolling. :D

He's also older and more of a short-term fix.

Not denying he's a better player than Higuain, but I won't slit my wrists if we miss out on Carlitos and Higuain is the second choice.
If Tevez was a Short term fix, then what would you have considered Ibra? And I would have taken him back in a New York Minute.

Has the mercato even started yet? I knew that that I should have installed cable tv in the rock that I've been living under. Damn.
