12+6=18 mil. for a 30 old forward in his last year of contract is not a bargain, nor too much. I d say its a fair price considering his class and temper.
I am just pleased that we didn't overpay, as usuall, esp for prestigious players.
I hope that Conte will control Tevez both off and on the field.
He can offer so much both at creating and finishing.
The choice to give him del pieros 10, was a very wise one. Tevez is a player that have won much, he needs some motivation to drive him forward. Winning the league and giving us our third star officially, is smth that we could have done even without him, reaching the CL semis to get the extra 6 mil and chasing the DP ghost every time he wears that jersey, would be the little extra he needs!

o, I ve red in a newspaper today 10 mil pounds and 5 mil after we win the league and reach CL semis. the same numbers were posted in goal.com yesterday.
I remember that the British pound was a bit above Euro, no idea if it is the currency values changed or press inaccuracies, but the less we pay the better, not that Tevez is not worthy of what I wrote and even more!

as for the age, I ve just red that in this summer has completed 29 and going to 30, so the coming season will be closer to that.
regardless, he is not higuain young, but he still has 3 good years in him, considering his physical condition, I am mostly worried about his mental condition, but thid happens to be Conte's greatest strength and this makes me confident!

I did see some others saying 18m but Juve website said €9m + €6m bonuses. But yeah he is still worth over €20m anyway imo, so it's a pretty good deal.

The British source is wrong, it adds up to €15m total, they are confusing it with Pounds Sterling.

Tevez is definitely the club's most high profile signing post calciopoli. Not just for the hype and the media attention he has generated since arriving here but also got to do with the hype over the "Top Player" that has eluded us since the past few years.

Ofcourse the best signings post calciopoli are definitely Pirlo and Vidal who have been bargains for the performances they've given in a Juventus jersey but thats a separate discussion altogether.
