I'm quite happy to not see him called up. Llorente missing out on the World Cup will also help him for next season.
The thing about Llorente is he seems to have a fragile confidence so being part of his national team again might give him a boost and help him jump back to his elite level.

Either way it does not bother me but I think Llorente would be hurt if he missed the call for the world cup.

I hope both our strikers can get a goal against Lyon.

I just think he looks really tired. When you see a player struggling to do something which usually comes instinctively it's usually because the body has gone, the mind follows. This should be expected from a player who essentially missed the previous season, which is why a holiday and pre-season with us should do him good.

He might well be a confidence player, but a couple of months ago he was still scoring and doing the basics right even when not playing particularly great.

Maybe you are right, he seems to be a guy who is not naturally in good condition and it takes him a lot of work. Tevez and Llorente prob wont be at the world cup.. especially given the resources Argentina and Spain have in attack and these 2 being out of the team for so long. Juve can be their national team too!

I think Tevez does carry the rest of the attack, but that's because he is pure class and a warrior. That helps everyone around him, so can only be good news.

Yeah Tevez really is world class. Still amazed we signed him, and for so cheap! When you think about desperate money we threw at Amauri, Matri, etc .. to get Tevez for so cheap is unreal. Yet some still complain about him

Conte: "Tevez has been a bit fatigued lately. I had told him to tell me when he's too tired and that's why he requested the sub."

Hopefully it was just a muscle cramp and fatigue.

Football Italia says something else.

Conte: "Tevez felt a little pain in his thigh during the last game with Parma and we agreed the moment he felt pain in that area that should come off, as we didn't want to take any stupid risks."

Rest Tevez against Livorno. Vucinic/Giovinco + Llorente can take care off Livorno.

He wanted to go off as soon as he went for that floppy shot which went straight to the keeper, he actually kicked the turf a bit going for it.

He was evidently frustrated with his game though. Osvaldo didn't help either.
