Don't worry, Trez scored 24 in 01/02 in the league (and 32 in all comps which is impossible for him to match). He likely won't touch that with only 7 matches remaining that he can play in. I'll be psyched if he scores another 4-5 goals and has our best season in almost 10 years.

I still can't believe we signed him for 10mln
?? how is it you think Tevez cost only €10m?

Transfer fee to ManCity is higher (fixed €9m + variable payment being max €6m) and then his agent also took a big paycheck(~€5m). Transfer fee to ManCity guaranteed €11m if we win SerieA this season. Also since his contract is just 3 seasons it means annual expense €5m according to Juve's financial statements + €2m variable = €7m. That's equivalent to a €35m player on a 5 year contract. Not saying he isn't worth it, but he didn't come cheap. The €9m guaranteed payment to ManCity is deceiving. Also he's the best payed player in the squad.

Ummm. We're talking transfer fee plus potential bonuses to City for performance. Which was max 12 mil if I recall correctly. When comparing transfer fees you don't include wage payments and other such things, just the cost of the transfer. It's amazing that Higuain cost Napoli 37 million, transfer fee only. Tevez might cost us 12 mil. Higuain also makes higher wages. So according to your logic, Higuain might actually cost Napol about 80 mil over 5 years.

Because the actual transfer fee for Tevez (including bonuses) was so low, he came exceptionally cheap compared to players of similar goal-scoring prowess, that would have commanded 30 million plus transfer fees plus similar, if not higher, wages.

Even whenw e are mad about him for failing hard in Europe....the dude is making every penny spend on him worth on the league.
We should not feel bad in the slighlest for his europe fails.....He is heading to be a capo cannoniere...and thats something unseen since DP and Trez at their prime.

At the very least.... we bought a serie A top scorer which is a special player.

That was excluding wage payments. to ManCity €9m guaranteed, €1m extra each time we qualify for CL and €1m extra each time we win SerieA (in next 3 years), that's max €6m variable. And his agent took ~€5m, that's guaranteed payment. I didn't included wages in the calculation. Wages would be €10m gross every year in addition to the above, according to estimates of his wages.

also, Tevez >>>> Higuain

So 15 mil + 5 mil to his agent is 20 mil. And we can sign him to a two year extension. Or sell him. It's still a heck of a deal.

Higuain cost 37 mil, what was the fee to his agent?

Where are you getting the 5 mil agent fee from anyways?

Agent fee from Juve's 2013/14 Q1 financial statements. Extending him would be great but I always fear that he might want to go back to Boca and not extend. Also the deal was ideal because we might have had cash shortage, so even though the expenses are high cash outflow upfront was pretty low.
