It's funny, people were praising Tevez as the saviour off the start of the season when he was in amazing form, and calling for Llorente's head as he wasn't really match fit yet. How the roles have switched. Tuz is so fickle. You have a couple bad matches and its sell, sell, sell.

This is the best set of forwards we've had since 2007/08 when Del Piero and Trezeguet had their last good years, 21 and 20 goals respectively. In the 5 years since, we haven't had a player score more than 13 in the league.

Tevez--Llorente is awesome. Perhaps it won't win us the champion's league, but I don't see us having the 50+ million required to sign a Forward that would make us one of the top 4-5 teams in Europe. We're definitely top 8 when we're in good form, as shown last year, and we're better this year, we just got unlucky and played poorly.

 - Tevez hasn't scored in 6 - he's much better than that by his own standards.

But you're right, we should just express our thanks to God that we don't have Amauri and Toni starting upfront
Oh my god...Tevez isn't as prolific as some thought let's discount everything else he contributes to our play because he is nothing without goals. Work rate counts for nothing now because of padoin and pepe

Yep, most here, including me, praised his work rate. It's his lack of goals of late that's a concern.

No one's calling for his head, just saying we know he can do better ;)

:andyandbarcelona::blah: every player goes through a bad patch of form, even Vidal did earlier in the season. He still has 18 goals + assists FFS.
