Well, I don't know.. maybe so he won't freak out and want to move back to Argentina as usual?
We should cover the meteor to europe scenario too, that would really suck on his morale, he might want to go back to argentina too...

Actually if you want to think about what if's i have some really far fetched ones when you get over the regular ones. Just hit me up, i'll help you.

Like others have said, Italy is a lot closer to Argentina in terms of culture than England is, so I can't see him really having the same problems again. It will probably be easier for him to learn the language too.

Actually, in the areas where Spanish is the native language of about 20% of the population, you do see the majority of people at least partially bilingual. I can get around in Spanish.

The problem is all those areas are in the south, there is no reason for John Brendenheim to have to speak Spanish in Milwaukee.

Still doesn't explain how Americans can't speak Spanish or any other languages.
did you know usa has no official language? English is just the common spoken one. but there is no rule as to what the language has to be.

for example here in canada English and French are the official languages. what about your country

It's Spanish but I don't think that really matters. Like Obama said, people in the US need to learn to speak other languages because everyone else speaks at least two languages except for Americans.

And neither most latins can speak english properly
But they do learn other languages when they go to other countries.

Knowing how to order food in Spanish at Taco Bell doesn't really qualify a person as partially billingual :p
