No that only makes the choice much easier. That way you have the big name and the big money. What I want is to draw a clear line of distinction between the importance of having a creditworthy CV and a bank balance that can buy you the world.
Depends on where I was with my career. Early stages, you've got to build experience, both real and CV-centric. Later on, you can compromise.
You example is maybe flawed. After all, you seem to be suggesting that the smaller company would offer more responsibility for more money. That's usually the sign of a job that'll help your CV, not hurt it.
No, infact thats what makes the scenario all the more tantalising. A situation where you're building on the CV but suddenly, there's an opportunity to step it up a notch, but within a very specific realm, as is the case in this example, wherein the smaller company is offering more responsibility and more money but not much of a future if you move elsewhere from thereon in. So the question begs, would one move for that kind of situation?
But at Palermo, you'd be earning good money too. Only it would mean taking Juventus off the CV in exchange. So how would you consider that situation? As a good one or something that would be confusing?
a CV? whats the point, you work for 20 odd years building one then you pick a career, that crap is scary, waste of time, best years of your life working, i hope i die before i get old

who would like to get old anyway? i know im going to be one of those who just sit there whining about the weather.
death at 65 for the win
ontopic: I like to enjoy my life at full time. Which if you remove sleep+work is like 8 hours + weekends.
I'd like a work where im not feeling stressed at my freetime and a place where i long to meet the people at work. of course I'd also like to work with something I like.
Money doesn't matter as long as they don't limit the things I like to do in my every day life.
Jesus your as bad as lou. Stop with the condescending and patronising attitude please. You might have a differing opinion but at least argue your case constructively. You have this knack of completely missing the point of most posts
