Incredible how little fouls we conceded. And how Chiellini timed his anticipating step-ins.

Incredibly talent of the player, incredible concentration, and very well prepared by the coach

He wasn't playing in final of 2015 and last years second bayern game. Please please don't miss the semi and final this year. In serie a rugani can play but we need chiello in CL.

All chiellini needs is proper tactical instructions to contain his inner gorilla.

Might sounds like a joke, but it isnt. He's the ultimate stopper when guided properly. This has been the case throghout his career. He has a burning desire to challenge players.

- He was amazing next to cannavaro or Legrottaglie
- He initially was poor next to bonucci
- He improved remarcably with Barzagli in the vicinity. But he was one of the few who didnt improve under conte's influence, as Conte isnt a tactical micromanager

Like Bonucci tends to have a fatal brain error, Chiellini tends to bulldoze about in staple games

However, when Allegri specifies tactical instructions and Chiellini knows exactly when to move where and when to tackle where and how, he trows in legendary performances like today.

He's not a Nesta, Maldini, Cannavaro, Baresi, Scirea, ... Whom didnt need a coach to organise a defence to perfection and know where to move

Nope. Chiellini isnt an organiser. He's a precision cruise missle with a nuclear warhead. Give him precise instructions, and he leaves no survivors.

This is why he's also so very good at marking. He knows what to do and when, and he does it to perfection. When he's marking a zone, he'll need close management.
