Chiellini agrees new contract
Giorgio Chiellini says there is 'agreement on everything' in talks for a new contract at Juventus.
The 26-year-old centre-back has been locked in negotiations for months amid interest from Manchester City.
Speaking at a FIFA 2011 publicity event, Chiellini said: “There is agreement on everything for the renewal.
“There is only a little bureaucracy missing.”
He then reflected on Sunday's disappointing stalemate with Bologna.
“There is no dip [in form]. There are improvements. We were always in their half of the pitch at Bologna without conceding anything on the counterattack.
“We are only missing goals. We'll what point we're at on Saturday [when Juventus face Milan].”
When asked if Juventus need to reinforce in January, Chiellini said: “Quagliarella can't play in Europe, Amauri and Iaquinta are hurt.
“If everyone is available, then we don't need reinforcements, but every area of the team can be improved.
“I don't believe in a big signing, only some adjustments.”
