The problem is I reckon that if Giorgio does go to Manchester then, after a year or two he'll surely want to come back to Serie A, thats where I hope it dosen't come back and bite us... And 7m quid, the boards having a laugh for that price tbh.

or it could work to our favour and possibly ruin his career. If he turns out a flop at Man City, then i dont think any BIG team in Italy will want to sign him, so he would have to settle for a middle class team, where instead he could just stay with Juve and improve at a big club and become a star for the future. Im sure he knows this and if he wants to play for National Team, then he better stay in Serie A.

Anyway i think he will be staying and we wont be buying or selling/loaning any more defenders until possibly January, depending on how our season is going.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, I really don't understand why a young italian on the verge of a grand career at Juventus would ever go to a mediocre team in England with absolutely no chance of ever winning any major trophies.
There must be something going on we don't know about, otherwise he is just plain stupid.

Chi should try to make up with C-Ra otherwise he will be seriously messing up his Azzurri chances...why would u want to leave a legendary winning Italian club for a mediocre mid-table English team....he will never win anything higher than the League Cup over there and will most probably be forgotten by Donadoni as well

I'll try to make it easier for you: Now, his wage in Juventus is 900000 euros. Manchester City offers him 1.8 million euros.

Is that a good reason?

It is for a player of let's say 28 but this guy is just beginning. Money should be irrelevant at this point in his career.
If he can secure a place in our team he can win trophies, he can sign a new contract or at least increase his market value and or wage demands.
If he signs for Man City he won't be able to increase his value much cuz he won't win anything at club level He can only do that at the national team but even that is in doubt if you sign for a mediocre English side.
Stupid, just stupid.

it was bad enough losing zambo, chiellini last season erased all thought of zambo, if you leave to play for this mediocre team i hope you rot there and my opinion of you will be lower than zambo's move to barca, alternatively you can stay at juve, have a bright future, more success, or move to man shitty, struggle for 11th position and die trying for anything better.

Our future defence;Zebina-Grygera-Heinze-Chiellini or Grygera-Zebina-Chiellini-Heinze.These players can really adapt our rotation system!Although none of them is natural CB...
