I don't think we're going to regret having him around for a little while longer. But what we will regret is if we don't have a plan for his replacement and think we can just keep kicking the can down the road, which I think we're trying to do IMO.

Wanted him gone last year, but this renewal is a no-brainer. Good to see us give him a chance to play the world cup. He should be a bench option this season though. Need to invest in a replacement this summer or the next.

If I speak from the brain... 2 years is to much...

If I speak from the heart... Im very happy he stays...

Trying to find a balance to both... if he gets injured to much, at least we have a leader in the team, and we dont have much of them in the team at the moment, in that way, its good to have him in and out the field.

rememeber that we also need a minimum amount of italian players in the squad to register for both serie a and CL

are likelky the only ones. having chiellini go for free would have put the club in another headache situation to replace him
