Spent to much time on opposing half, to much time with the ball.
Almost cost us a goal, he should receive the ball, pass it to midfielder and worry about defence, otherwise he is making it easy for other teams to counter and with him being "so fast" along side Bonucci we could have conceded easly.

He made atleast 3 wtf turnovers in dangerous positions that were worse then the shit Muntari was doing, Sulley was by far the biggiest joke on the pitch.

He didn't make his mark by trying to be a cultured or classy player, I think our more recent style doesn't highlight his strengths. When Milan are barely attacking he is forced to be a ball-playing defender, and his passes are the most telegraphed you will ever see in football, his left leg is like a golf putter it is so deliberate.

I think we'd see him at his best again in a back four, just defending and touching the ball sideways to someone who can use it better.

It's not his defensive abilities that are worrying people, it's his huge tendency to make a crazy amateur attempted pass. I'd honestly prefer he hoofs it when under pressure. Conceding possession with the ball 60 yards from goal is a hella lot better than what he kept doing yesterday.

:agree:

Chiellini works best in a 4backline. Him and Barzagli will shine there.

Caceres lacks the mental skills to play as a centreback in a back4 and isnt nearly as good in duels as the other two, when he cant rush out just like he sees fit.
Bonucci has the mental and positional skills, but is far to weak
Ogbonna lacks the mental skills, and while big and strong, isnt as good as the other two in 1v1 in close space.

Caceres allways looks good when not put under pressure. And against milan he could just go in and press without watching the space behind him cause its a 3cb center. That wont quite work the same wayin a back4.
