Most of the Roma team were playing like scum, nice to see he gave them the same treatment
Except that he started it all with that idiotic revenge tackle on Totti. Seriously - the guy has a single digit IQ. In Italy you get away with shit like this, but he could pull this at any time and in Europe you get red carded faster than you can say "He used the soft part of his elbow :lol2:" . Buffon is one the classiest captains in the game today, it's a pity that this guy wore the armband.

Yeah, he needs to ease up in Europe, absolutely. But I have no complaints about him today considering Totti was being a prick from minute 1 and Roma must've committed about 20 fucking tackles from behind.

Well if Prandelli wants to be the only NT coach out there that drops his starting XI players in a World Cup due to something stupid in the league then he's an idiot

Friendlies, sure.

But if he wants to sacrifice the biggest tournament on Earth for some ridiculous code of conduct then so be it.

It started when Totti fouled Giorgio. Giorgio put his hand out which Totti rejected.

Giorgio beast mode on.
:agree: 4-5 Roma players were trying to get him sent off from that moment, Destro, Totti, Pjanic all got yellows for fouling him, Naingollan and others were also after his legs.

Some of the grasshoppers around here haven't seen the likes of Montero, Iuliano or Ferrara and how they operated during their careers. They'd throw punches, nasty tackles, rip shirts, literally scare the shit out of opponent's offensive players and I loved them for that. Chiello has nothing on these guys.

Montero, Iuliano and Ferrara had each other taking turns in giving and taking blows. Captain Chiellini was all on his own today, doing what had to be done :eek:nemanarmy:

Absolute piece of shit today - did not deserve to wear the captain's armband. Deserved every harsh tackle he got after that elbow.
Bit harsh for a guy who gives his heart and sole to our club. It was an elbow big fucking deal he didn't even hit him that hard with it so lighten up this is supposed to be a mans game.

With hard but fair tackles.

Elbowing someone in the head, especially when they are not expecting it, is anything but manly.
