He's been very clumsy and lazy at the back for us so far.
We know he is much better than that, but I hope he doesnt get overzealous in trying to prove himself again and give away a stupid needless penalty or get a red card.
Buffon and Del Piero are pretty untouchable too. Although, all these players have their prices (I mean transfer money for Juve) and if a team came along and offered €40m for Del Piero I don't think you would see Juve rejecting. Not a 37 year old Del Piero anyway.
Nani - Man Utd would never go for Chiellini seeing as they already bought P.Jones and have Vidic & Ferdinand. Plus I could possibly see them going for Cahill. Van Persie He's older than Chiellini and is extremely injury prone. The Benzema swap is the only realistic transfer out of those 3. Real Madrid have been interested in the past and Chiellini would walk straight into their backline. Benzema>Van Persie anyway (if both on form).
1 - No one would bother making an offer for a 37 yr old DP
2 - Any ridiculously high offer should be considered for Chiellini - otherwise we got much bigger problems (second CB and LB)
RVP i could see why because he's injury prone, i would hesitate too.
But for Benzema or Nani i would pull the trigger right away. Chiellin is in no way irreplacable, someone like Hummels/Subotic are more than good enough to replace him.
