This guy is the locatelli of defenders, please leave the club. you offer nothing alongside alex sandro
last season he was easily a top3 player at juventus, while sandro has been meh or straight out terrible for years

this year his injury affected his season a lot, he hasn't been back to his best, he still was a beast in the cup final. even if he shouldn't start for juve, it's a weird comparison with sandro

top 3 in this current juventus means nothing.

he's slow, he has brainfarts, he lacks invention, he's not particularly an aerial threat. Mind you he's a fullback turned cb and so is alex sandro lol

Get a real CB to partner bremer.

i never saw the likes of carvajal, marcelo, alves, lahm, cole, Lichtsteiner etc be converted into a cb

I don't understand the obsession this club has with converting players positions

Alaba, Ivanovic and Azpilecueta and ramos are rare cases where it has worked

he's also 32. it's natural he will start to slow down.

imo he should be back to covering lb/rb starter if the club can't sign a fullback. de siglio should be sold

He's the captain and "leader" of two legendary sides that are currently mediocre... He's had his five minutes of fame and needs to go after this season.
Wouldn’t be all that harsh on him necessarily because it’s not really his fault he is part of historical teams that currently have no real leaders and a lack of experience so much so that he had to step up and take responsibility in that role, but truth be told he is somewhat of a fit symbol/captain for this unsuccessful cycle of both teams, forgettable would probably be best to describe it.

Nothing but praise from me for him! A leader by example on field without the loud mouth to go with it. Nothing extraordinary about his talent but gives you 100% out there and well WORTH and has EARNED the money Juve has spent. Unfortunately can't say that about enough others here.

See how Danilo does this season, but after resigning the likes of Sandro after a meh season(s), would be disappointing not giving him at least one year extension. Maybe incorrect, but don't remember him complaining about his salary?

Plus lol only 84 pages so far for his thread, not much criticizing of his play I guess that appears to dominate other Juve player threads. Danilo just goes about his job in a professional under the radar way. :vidal:

I would say he was the best captain after Chiellini, because Bonucci was not a good captain imo. But to me he's not that good in general... I hope he has a good season with Motta, though and I don't know if we should renew him after next season.
