Capello is asking too much from certain players and asking too little from others, this is the biggest reason why our players are off-form. Another problem is his stubbornness on leaving certain players on the bench, this also deteriorates a player's form.
Zambrotta, Mutu, Camoranesi and Nedved half of what they can do is being used and the other half is wasted. because Capello is forcing them into his roles.
By moving any of Mutu, Camoranesi or Nedved to a more free role, that player will give more. Moreover, Zambrotta will be able to run more forward and do his good crosses and penetrations.
Zlatan is being asked to do miracles. I bet before each game Capello asks him to go and do a Van Basten. This is a kid FFS, encourage him but don't ask him for things above his current capabilities. He might get there one day, but not tonight nor tomorrow. No wonder why is he always so frustrated.

What you said is very similar to what I said. Limiting Nedved, Maoro and Zambrotta's roles are due to tactical reasons, which are totally not creative.
His tactics have limited their abilities and reduced their form.
Some say the Capello brought back Del Piero. In my opinion Alex was never gone. The time where he was underpar was due to injury after he recovers he has always shown his worth...

Francesco Totti has launched a scathing attack on Juventus Coach Fabio Capello. "He’s not a true person," he blasted.
Totti, who worked under Capello when Roma won the Scudetto, unleashed his extraordinary outburst in Italian daily ‘Il Messagero’ - ahead of Saturday’s match between the Giallorossi and Juve at the Stadio Olimpico.
"I would never play for Capello again," said the Roma captain. "There’s no doubt about that – and I never said that I would. He’s not a true person.
"For me, the type of man you are is far more important than the Coach you are," he added.
"Luciano Spalletti, compared to Capello, is a real man. He doesn’t treat Totti, Vincenzo Montella and others differently. He treats everybody in the same way."
The discord between Totti and his former Coach dates back to last season when Don Fabio slighted him publicly by telling his players not to take their inspiration from players like Totti – but rather to knuckle down and work hard.
Totti is also uneasy about rumours linking Juve’s director general Luciano Moggi with a return to Roma.
"If he leaves Juve I would rather he joins the national side’s set-up," the No 10 added.
It seems that Totti, who left Italy’s training headquarters due to injury last week, is planning to retire from international football after the next World Cup.
"After the World Cup I’m 99 per cent sure I’ll retire from the national side to dedicate myself to Roma," he surprisingly concluded.

Journalists always try to provoke players before matches. This is very expected. Totti's behaviour is not like for an example Del Piero, after a year of an incidence he will not talk about it. Totti on the other hand will always do. I bet you if Juve played Roma 10 years from now, Totti was playing for Roma and Capello was at Juventus similar statements will be out for us to read.
I would have been very impressed if that "record" was against teams like Milan , away or at home, Inter away, Fiorentina away. Not the calibre of opponents we faced.
No argument is aided by stats or stuff like records becos they do not accurately depict the whole situation.
Fixture list can quite easily throw up 15 easy matches in a row and then next 9 could be hell, now if you win your first 15, set a new so called record, and lose your next 9, does that mean you are the best and crap in a matter of weeks?
As for Crapelloo, he is very successful, like Trapatoni but you just cannot get to like them if they are coaching your team cos of the negative attitude they got.
I am not a manager, nor coach, never have been, and might be easier from the outside, but if i was Juve's manager, with the squad available to me, injuries and all, i would either play 3 at the back with Kovac, Thuram and Cannavaro and ignore the right back position for now, or if we are playing a team with a strong left winger, then i will play Thuram there, as he is the best alternative we got, its stupid playing Blasi or Zambrotta there.
I like teams with lots of movement off the ball and one touch football with it so in mf, i will mostly have, Vieria, Emerson, Camoranesi, Dp and Mutu, with Trez as the lone striker.
This does not mean , no room for Zlatan or Nedved as they will play
I have never liked the dynamic between Nedved and Dp, simply because there isnt any, so i will try as much as possible to not play them at the same time

Now if we play a team like Milan, then thats where players like Giannicheda and Blasi will come into play, to nullify the Kaka and Pirlo effect, its just foolhardy to me to expect players like Vieria and Emerson to try and control Kaka and Pirlo when we have players like Giannichedda or Blasi who could do that job, as they are not gonna hurt the opposition so why not just put them in there to nullify dangermen and either drop, Nedved in the first group or Mutu or Dp in the second group.
I definitely will not be so rigid to the point of ridicule and certainly will not based my football based on height for my strikers
Its amazing how a manager can love talll strikers but not concerned that we do not have a commanding presence at the back, so we always struggle when balls are crossed into out penalty area. Just a very curious man, our crapelloo.

I remember complaining about Thuram being captain and the next game, i see , Pessotto as captain and Nedved was dropped against Bayern, much to my relief

Now thats very obtuse, what has how you perform in training got to do with how managers pick their teams?
Capello is not stubborn, he does not know any better, he has no idea how to change formations when things are going badly. Or are you telling me that Nedved has been flying in training or that Zlatan's tricks only work in training or the likes of Dp and Mutu are poor in training?
I do not care if he sees them everyday or even sleeps with them, the fact is that some players do not enjoy training but are still class whilst some like Nedved, Gatusso and players like that will give 100% no matter the situation, it does not alter the fact that Nedved has been terrible overall for 2 years now but he still plays week in week out , if anywhere near fit

I tend to agree denco. You have to look at the performances of the players during the actual matches, not just some training session...and what sort of manager would not field the players who perform during the matches anyway? That doesn't really make any sense.

He has fielded the 4-4-2 throughout the majority of his career, however he also played around with the 3-4-1-2 and the 4-2-3-1 and changed things up when the system was not working very well. So I believe it's a combination of both...Capello only cares for a couple systems and doesn't exactly know how to change a team around when we hit a bad spell.
