well if he doesnt join us this season, then he's more than likely to stay with real for a little longer and finish his career in his homeland at napoli... joining up with his younger brother in defence
Fabio was one of my favourite players for years...but he's now at the stage where he knows the only way is down, the Spanish press have noted the flaws starting to appear in his play. Added to that he needs to secure as big a pay-packet for himself that he can...that would be his reason for returning to Juve & it's not good enough for me...but yes, going back to his "Bella Napoli" would be a nice move for him as they are back in "A.":agree:

point is,chivu wont come
chivu is not a good option anyway his postion play is very bad so what if he takes a good freekick he paid to defend and to be frank not good at that.I would like to see cannavaro back if really wants i feel he will still have a lot to offer lets see how it goes

Cannavaro on form is light years ahead of Chivu,no question about that..But judging on last season's performance...Chivu is better IMO.

i'll have to disagree there, IMO canna is still the best defender in the world... he has had a tough season but he still won the title with madrid, and its the 1st time he's been out of the serie a, also with him winning so many awards comes added pressure, im sure we will see the real cannavaro next season wherever he plays. the guy will keep running till hes 40, hes a tank

not sure perhaps but the his defining perfomance against man u in the champions league keeps coming back but then again the whole roma team was poor , i just don't feel he is juve type of defender meaning the no nonsense type that we really need

the guy will keep running till hes 40, hes a tank[/QUOTE] Maybe he will, as I said, he's been one of my fave players for years. For that reason I don't want to see him embarrassed by having to do something he might no longer be capable of...& that's why I agreed with your earlier post about Napoli.

He won the title with Madrid...But the thing is that he wasnt anywhere near being their best defender...He was completely outclassed by midtable team strikers like Arzimendi,Kalu Uche and Riga...IMO he had a very shaky season...even in his best games at best he was average..Sergio Ramos was by far the best defender in real madrid last season.

as i said yes i admit he had a shaky season, but most players arent entirely convincing when moving to another country, and his form was improving towards the end of the season, im sure we will see the real canna next season

exactly....which is why i said on form he's world class...but he wasnt anywhere near his form last season....granted he improved in the 2nd half of the season.. but he was nowhere near the best defender in la liga even at that time, let alone the world.
