:agree:

Don't bear too much of a grudge against canna or zambro but I still don't want them back.
i suppose he could teach criscito a few things, be nice to see him back, but at the moment i hate him because hes a real madrid player
Both quotes contradict themselves, I agree with both though. To clarify it, I still can't accept the idea of leaving us in our greatest plight ever. And at the same time, I think that the presence of either Cannavaro or Zambrotta would be very useful to the team.

theres no contradiction here.... I hate all real madrid players because i hate their team.. to provide you with a similarity if you hate the nazi party you hate all nazi's, but if someone was to switch from the nazi party i would embrace them and welcome them

guys im becomming sick of whos a traitor and whos not so let me just clear this up once and for all

in life people make choices in which they all have consequences, no choice is perfect, just some turn out better than others. however some realise the mistake in choice and end up wanting turn back the time.

when lippi left us the first time after the crushing defeat to parma, he soon joined inter, which to us is the ultimate crime, he left juve in a difficult position at a fairly unsuccessful season, yet we always welcomed lippi back with open arms, i can understand that since he was successful at juve, so since lippi coached inter which in itself cud be seen as sumthing worthy of being a traitor, then how is that different to the players that left us in the summer, ok zlatan and vieira fought without a heart and cudnt wait to jump ship, that is being a traitor, but zambo, canna, thuram and emo? jees they were always influential for juve, yet we all slate them as to how we hope they rot at their clubs, those players fought with heart, with black n white blood within.

what if ale had left in the summer? wud we have slated him and branded him as a traitor? why if after lippi left us we always want him back despite the fact he managed our fierce rivals, however most of us dont seem to want the old fighters back in juve colours. when we look at it the players that left HAD to leave, simply because we couldnt afford to keep them all, only in that we had to force camo to stay. if any of the leavers in the summer wanna return except zlatan and paddy, id gladly take them.

first of all, canna, zambrotta, thuram, viera, ibra and emerson were let go because we couldnt afford their wages

think about it, would you stay in your accept a pay cut just to stay with the same company (knowing that for a year you wouldnt accomplish much) when the other companies are offering you same or even more money, and a chance to "compete" in the highest level in your profession

to me the traitors are players like zalayeta who didnt want to leave because they had a nice multi-year contract and they could not be thrown on the streets

no cana can come anytime, he wishes and same goes for everybody else, a bussiness decission was made and another bussiness decission will be made when or if they are to come

now all of you go for a light jog to clear your head

think about it, would you have rather kept buffon or thuram? trezeguet or ibra? viera or del piero?

I have no objection regarding your ideology. Generally, I'm not discussing to which team they play, but the point here is that I just referred to their loyalty to the club and whether I love to see them back or not.

I'd welcome back Zambrotta and Cannavaro. But I would have expected Cannavaro, due to his age, to accept a huge wagecut..

The other players, I thank them for their efforts because no matter what people say we were the champions of 2004/2005 and 2005/2006. We had a hell of a team!

wouldnt you say that someone who is loyal to the club does what is best for the club?
I wouldn't say that precisely, if you mean me. But if you want my opinion, a player who is loyal to his club has to do what is best for the club. Zambrotta and Cannavaro shouldn't have escaped the ship once it was on verge to drown. I said the same in another thread yesterday, I think.

I really don't care anymore if Cannavaro or Zambrotta return, now that I think about it. I just don't want a backline consisting of over-rated Brazilian, French and Portuguese youngsters that Didier deems as "future stars". He wanted Boumsong and he keeps Bojinov on the bench, so I really don't trust his judgement anymore. I still don't understand why they won't tap the German market, a nation that is just as credible as Italy for producing defenders.

So sure Cannavaro, come back. I'm totally against what you did, but if it saves Juventus from acquiring a shitty defender, I'm all for it.

Cannavaro: Leave Real? I love it here in Spain’

Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro today dismissed rumours linking him to his former club Juventus. In a lengthy interview with Spanish newspaper ABC, Cannavaro was also very critical of his performances this year: “I have to admit I have never made as many mistakes as I have this season,” he told the paper, adding, “Why should I want to leave? I like it very much here in Spain.”
