Real Madrid's Cannavaro open to Juventus return

Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro has given the clearest indication yet that a return to Juventus could be on in the summer.
The 33 year-old Italy international said: "I know I must ask for forgiveness, because the Bianconeri tifosi adored me and my departure was a big blow for them.

"It's wonderful to know that Juve are still interested in me. We will see at the end of this season what can be done.

"If we both want it, an agreement will be found."

Even if he'll be a short term solution, I see no problem in that provided that he'll be in a good form. Players like Criscito would benefit a lot from an experienced world class like Cannavaro, even Boumsong can learn how to become a defender.

The original source for all those rumours is tuttosport and they are not credible at all so I have high doubts if Canna even gave an interview to them.

Having said that I want him back so badly...He's always been one of my favourites and I don't consider him a traitor. That's my subjective and personal point of view and not everyone agrees, I know. But I miss him...:frown2:

I miss him aswell, It hurted me too see him play with madrid vs atletico ,he even got a red card, did canna ever took a red card during his Juve period? I hope he will return even tho it's indeed for a short period of time.

totally agree with Hennes. Traitor or not traitor this is not the question shakespeer might have said :D . The fact is that our defense is in need of a leader , a captain and all the fans here are aware of this. Cannavaro is probably the one completed this mission at juventus. If u see another option please have ur say .

Indeed, this is the key word : for a short period of time.
Juventus need this player for bouncing back and taking an immediate effect on the Serie A .

Sure, nobody is as unrealistic to say that Fab is our future...:D
But I think that for a short time he can help us with his quality, determination and carisma. And I think that Criscito would learn wonders with him ( he already did in the two seasons he trained with him, he stated himself that Canna taught him soo many things).
