-Because we needed to be nearly perfect and win promotion despite the -30 point deduction
-Every player would accept a smaller contract, just for this year
-Canna was one of the few players who declared that he had no problem playing in serie B or worse for Juve
-Canna is Italian and national hero, exactly what we need for the recreation of our image
-He wasnt thaat old, if he and we are considering to re-buy him one year later...
-We couldnt gain a great deal of money from his sale, esp if it was as urgent as he forced it to be
-We would soon need had to spend a great deal of money for his replacement
-Defenders need more time to adapt themselves than any other position, to build a solid defense you must keep as many persons unchanged as possible.

Canna's departure and the way and time it happened hurt our club in many ways,
he is Italian, he knew all this, he could just ignore them and leave. But he promised he will stay and left the next day...his choice, history has proved that!

Juve has never bought back a player and Canna will definitly not break that rule...
i agree i really wish canna had stayed yet he made the choice to leave and whats done is done he cant just expect to comeback when he falls out of favor at madrid.

Iwas hurt 2 and angry when Canna left :disagree: y even set on fire his jersey (wich i loved) but now im not so sure if i hate Canna, after all since he joined R. Madrid, he´s been kissing our ass, and we still need an extra CB and R. Madrid looks they are full at that position, so maybe it would be a good deal 4 both parts, if we can get him not to expensive.

At least that's my humble opinion.

Just hope this is true, not like Milito VERY, VERY , VERY, VERY, VERY close to Juve. That was BS.

As much as it would be great to have his talents at the club and be the man to help teach and lead Criscito in defence for the future, i think he made his choice this time last year.

Many stars stayed at the club, some by choice, others not by choice (Camo), however everyone of them played their hearts out to make sure juve got promoted this summer. Players like Cannavaro left in a quest for the CL, just as Zambrotta and Thuram did, and these players kind of had a swipe at the club, not only by leaving when times got tuff, but even by their choice of words. Zambrotta and Thuram in particular, even Zlatan for that matter.

At the end of the day, if Cannavaro has fallen out of favour for Pepe and co at Real, he still is a good option. Sure he would really need to make up for leaving, in particular the fans would probably not give him the best reception when wearing the jersey again...but i think he can do this.

Realistically, we need a player with his experience and someone who will help Criscito develop.

Who are you (directed to "us")? are you aware your brain is just farting with that line? I am not against anyone, but it seems you are against everyone.

There are facts and opinions. what you are talking about is worthless opinions which doesn't prove in anyway if you are bigger fan than this or that, or if you are "the fan".

The Football world is not a Disney land or a cartoon series like you think, it is all business running with real money (Millions and Billions). If a player or a director isn't professional, he will lose in that "game".

You can go with your "valuable" shouts forever: "fuck you Binter" " Moratti Dickhead" "Berlusconi you idiot" " Real madrid wins because of spain's king's gifts" " Juve Never cheats, it's them against us all, every single one of them" " we will win everything next year, we are Juve we have to" . If you think that will make you a real Juventus fan (whatever that is), then you will make a joke of yourself.

My pleasure :pint:

You are wasting your time with this moron, he doesn't know the meaning of sense.

shut up already!
well snoops:toast: i suppose it had to be said, however try to insult less next time mate

are you retarded? I'm talking about cannavaro in a cannavaro thread. Since when has there been anything wrong with that? It's a forum you douchebag, if everyone agreed with eachother this place would be boring.
as we all end up with responses like this.

but i highlighted the last part as i am a big believer in this statement. just try and do it without insults guys

then if we sign him it can become the official cannavaro to juve thread, then the wow cannavaro's really off form and sucks thread, then the wow i never thought wed find someone boumsong is better than thread, then the official cannavaro dies of old age thread. thats my 1 month plan for this thread.
you forgot that after canna dies of old age...

juve sells him to milan to help bring down the average age of their team

Could be worse. I spend some time on a Portuguese football site where all the Benfica fans are talking about the coming of Butt.

And here Moggi wouldn't sign Kaká because of his funny name...

Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro has snubbed the chance to join Chelsea, according to his agent.

Since the dismissal of coach Fabio Capello from the Bernabeu hotseat, rumours have increased that the 33-year-old FIFA World Player of the Year could return to Turin or make a move to the English Premier League.

But, when asked about Chelsea's offer, the player's agent Gaetano Fedele said: "Yes, the offer was there, but we postponed everything due to Real Madrid's wish.

"Let's not forget that Madrid are the most prestigious club in the world.

"In any case both clubs would have to find an agreement between them and from what I have read, Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has been clear in saying that Fabio is untouchable.

"I reiterate it's highly unlikely that Fabio will leave Real Madrid at least this year."

The central defender, who joined Madrid shortly after guiding Italy to World Cup glory last summer, is under contract with the Spanish champions for a further two seasons.

"Fabio is in Madrid where he has adapted very well," Fedele added.

"They have won a championship and hence I don't think there is a possibility he will leave Madrid.

"Fabio's wish is to win the Champions League and the only team that can let him do that is Real Madrid."

Canna wants another shot at Champions League but Real madrid squad at moment will be very strong defensivly with all the signings just maybe they will have a shot. To me its always been a very funny trophy were it dosent matter how u play just find a way to win.

If Juve gave him a offer he couldnt refuse he would b back in a flash.

:disagree: He has proven that he is capello's bitch but now I want to see if he will follow him out of the game. He won't come to juve for 2 reasons.
1. he wants to compete in the CL
2. he would ask for too much $$$, 65% of which he is no longer worth IMO and juve is not dumb enough to pay a geriatric that much especially in this day, age and with our current situation.

damn i thaught they were playing in cl next year.......wel well since juve is not in champions league than barca you are the only choice...
:disagree: what a give up :tdown::tdown:

Cannavaro thinks he will win Champions League with Real Madrid? :disagree:
i'm with you 100% :pint:

maybe.. because juve won't be in the champions league this year..
very observant of you slugger :eyebrows: :p
