well, after all, i don't think it makes sense to even think of selling him now. he is a very important player, a symbol to the fans and still a first class talent.

personally, i see few players reaching his level at the moment.

I am fond of ale very much.
I love juventus and Italy most because of him, though there are many good players in the team.
I never thought of it that he would leave the club one day.And it is unbelieveable that he would be sold to another club to me.
I am a Chinese, and I think most of the fans like me agree that he is the icon of the club.

seriously you asked anyone who is the icon of italy they say del piero (even though maldini kinda is but hes a defender we're taking entertaining attacking football).
*cough* Baggio *cough* I don't want to start another Baggio vs DP discussion here, but please do me a favour and go to Italy and ask people who is the icon of Italian football ;)

As for the topic ... no I really cannot imagine DP playing in any other club, at least not in any italian one. IMO he'll finish his career with us as he just extanded his contract and it'll end when he'll be 33. After that he'll retire.

Actually I Do believe that Baggio WAS the Serie A icon..And I Also think that Totti is a big icon for Serie A in for example Europe and Sweden, where I Live..

yeah, of course, del would never move, but i wouldnt be suprised if madrid have made unanimous offers for italian players. eg. del, maldini etc.
Well, there was a rumor that Real Madrid has already asked Del Piero to join in...between you and me, I really want to see all world stars playing in one team, but not like the way Madrid is doing it...;)

Reall wants to join an Italian player and they asked Totti...because-to my knowledge- Totti has some conflicts with Roma's management, and he threatened to leave Roma if the management refuse his request of joining some players he thinks Roma is in need of....and he said he had an offer from Madrid....;) ;);)

Baggio is still the italian icon , whith all my respect and love
    to DP...
    but baggio is something else
and as long as he is playing ,
he will stay the italian icon , and one of the most
beloved player in the world , after Pele , and MAradona.

You will have to take up with Totti's fans as well as he's also more popular than DP ;)

For the joy of DarkSoul, I just found this thread :D

First of all, DP a bigger icon than Baggio? Not even in your wettest and wildest dreams ;) Baggio has a massive fanbase in Asia, more than DP will ever have.

On the other hand, DP is more popular than Totti, because Juve have more fans than Roma around the world, therefore he's more well known.

Going back to the original topic, when I saw Baggio in the red and black shirt for the first time, I switched the tv from colour to black and white, so at least he looked like he was still a juve player :(

So probably that's what all DP fans will do when and if (and hopefully) DP is sold. I doubt he will, even though he has not signed the new contract.

To answer the topic, yes I can see DP in another club ;)
