Yeh, I know he scored agaisnt Barca and Madrid.....whatever. The likes of Amoroso and Salas were much more effective than this nob, eventhough they didnt stick around long enough.

Van der Sar has no place on the team, he was a good player. Look at our defensive record that year. If I was to mention a keeper I would mention Isaksson, he was very young but completely failed to make an impact at all.

Mirkovic and Dimas did their job IMO, they were average and nothing else. Backups and role-players, like Birindelli later.

Blanchard was a disgrace, just awful. Salas also was a complete flop, sadly. Injured most of the time, and when he got the chance accomplished nothing. Esnaider was also really bad. Legro was also a disaster, considering the other centrebacks available at the time.

no way man, hes actually quite a useful backup player and he also scored against arsenal ;) and scored that solo effort against frosinone last season, im not saying hes brilliant, but hes far from the worst player we've ever had and im still insulted as to how nobody else has named ian rush

Oh I will, amico mio! Amongst his many complaints about life in Italia was his big moan that he couldn't get that great English delicacy, that cordon bleu delight, "Baked Beans!!!" If he had delivered the goods for Juve they'd have bought him his own factory!

P.S. Don't go looking in a dictionary to translate "fessacchione," you won't find vernacular of the gutter variety there & I make no apologies for directing it against this individual!!!

Tomas Hassler comes to mind. Such a great midfielder, with remarkable career at international and club level (101 appearances for Germany), but a flop at Juve. He played only 1 season and scored only 1 goal.
He was great before and after the year in Juventus.

@Badass Devil , i wouldn't put Ian Rush on the list. We expected a lot from him and he didnt play like he did in Liverpool but we had a lousy team back then. Ian Rush was our league and overall top scorer nevertheless.
He was in Juve for 1 year only but like i said he was our topscorer in serie A (with 7 goals :shifty: ) and overall topscorer with 13 goals :shifty:.
If our topscorer scored only 13 goals and if our second best scorer was a defender, Luigi De Agostini, imagine how bad the midfielders and the other attackers were. We were 7 place in seria A that season.

but we had a lousy team during the ancelotti era yet alot of you have placed the likes of oliseh and mirkovic and a few others on that list, so this only really justifies why rush should be on the list, aswell as his stupidity :D
