Well, if lippi want to play with wingers, then Lippi, imo has to play with Zambo and Camo or even Zenoni.

What i cant work out is, why hasn't anyone taken zambo aside and specifically set a traing schedule which developed his crossing? By simply working on it, surlye it would improve.:thumb:

P.s well my sig kind of reflect how, a free agent specifically the really big ones ie Rivaldo are no longer free Agent as the Wage demands, signing on fee and numerous other contractual agreements lead to a player, ie Rivaldo costing as much to buy as a player like Riquelme to buy, pay his contracual clauses and wages.

i beg to differ.our best crosser is pessotto, not dp.:)i know,he crosses very well, but pesotto beats him in that department in my book.
Pessoto? He cannot cross very well, he does not even take corner kicks, surely a yardstick to how well you can cross the ball or not

I think the two are actually quite different. Its on thing to strike a ball that isn't moving, take an unobstructed run up and have some idea of where your teammates are. Its tottally another story when your running down the flank at full speed, the endline is approaching, there is a defender or 2 draped all over you, and you have no idea where the players in the box are going because it isn't a set piece. Much harder to fire in a good cross then as opposed to a corner.

Okay then I am right as Pessotto never runs at full speed, he runs a bit then checks, then crosses with his stronger right foot just like Zambrotta who check a million times before crossing the ball

are you sure?pessotto is an excellent crosser,no joke!the ball is exactly the right height and it spins very well for the strikers,i honestly don't know how you can disagree with that.

Okay he is good, we will just agree to disagree on that but onto what this thread is about after seeing Camoranesi, he certainly has more tricks up his sleeves than Zambrotta does, not sure about his crossing abilities and pace though as its just pre-season

Camoranesi is a good player, but so is Zamby. Is everyone forgeting about Zamby in the WC? Camoranesi is not an international, he;s never played first team football at a big club, and he has yet to prove anything in an official match. I think that everyone is getting ahead of themselves.

The fact that a player is not an international does not mean they are not more talented than internationals, besides Argentina have too many internationals, Zambrotta is a hard worker not a skilful performer in my view

I agree all around, but being an international means that you have proven yourself and accomplished something. Zambrotta has proven more than Camoranesi.

i think when zambrotta is at his full potential he a much better player than camoranesi, but camoranesi is still a very good player

Now that I think about it, doesn't this open up an oppurtunity to have either Zamby or Camoranesi on the left wing and play with five mid-fielders?

I think camo will replace zambo in the right flank.. coz with 4-4-2 formation we need a winger with more attacking style, got 2 be creative enough& have good crosses.
I like Zambo when we played 3-4-1-2 (ZZ as pm), but last season imo in overall he sucks. Always look confused when someone passes the ball 2 him (may be he thinks "hey where's ZZ?" :D), just running with it but dunno what to do? Personally i think he looks dumb last season..(no offense to his fans)
Yes, he's a hardworking fellow, but that's not enough. I think he's done better defendsively than offensively, that's why in 3-4-1-2 formation, he played well.

Did you even watch the World Cup?

What about the world cup because if i remember correctly you claimed that not a single Juve player was outstanding which is true, and the best of the average bunch were Buffon and Carini, now there isn't a thing that j-com. said that is not true. Zambrotta is a player who runs his heart out but he is not creative, well your kind of player really. He did exactly the same in the wc, running around, taking shots when he should cross or pass and not more than one telling cross in the tournament or did i see the wc different.

Zambrotta was poor last season for us and that should not be denied, I don't know if in previous seasons he was good as last season was the only one i saw every minute of Juve

Yes, in fact i watch the WC.. and yes, his performance at WC it would be slightly better compared to our last campaign, but it would mean nothing coz his last campaign at juve was (very) poor..
