Carraro was the guy caught saying don't favour Juve in one of those calls right?
Frankly, the amount of scapegoating in Italy is sickening. Inter in particular.. They never ever take responsibility for their actions. And if you look at Calciopoli that is just.. stuff like that kills people. Italy can be truly disgusting.

Yes, I actually meant it literally too :D.

And what's most shocking about it is that most judgments and the latest one in particular DENY that something as organized as Calciopoli ever took place. How you can take these judgments and twist and turn them so that they would somehow prove a "system" is beyond me. People are just lying.

Time and time again judges have said no match fixing took place. If this ever reaches a court outside of Italy the FIGC are in trouble.

I see a settlement coming our way and it's going to be big.

I'm intrigued to know what tavecchio's offer is, whatever it is im sure it won't reflect the damage and suffering the club has endured. I hope whatever the offer is Juve go all the way because whatever the figc's offer is they will still continue to claim Juve were guilty in some sort of capacity

Not if those judges don't reside in Italy. This is a cancer in the heart of Italian society that has to go. This near constant accusing of each other without any sort of evidence is fucking with people's minds.

Politics aside :)D) what do you think our chances (our as in Juve's) of taking it to the Europe court if necessary?

Or it says a lot about their audience. Popularity ≠ Quality.
Not quite. :D

Not quite. :D

Juventus currently can't go any European court. For the ECHR we would have to exhaust all domestic remedies first. We are still at the beginning of any possible procedure.

I can't say much about Moggi's chances before the ECHR. I don't know what his lawyers would claim.

I remember reading something that basically said that...essentially, until all domestic avenues have been exhausted only then can we take it to the EU courts.

That fucker that spoke earlier (FIGC guy in charge at this time in 2006) said that because we accepted a plea bargain means we admitted guilt which means we in turn can't seek damages...I wonder how accurate that is and will it be taken seriously by courts?

A plea bargain means you plead guilty to a charge in a criminal case. As far as I am aware we never did such a thing.

@Mark didn't we accept something right before the world cup...wasn't that what we "had" to do in order for FIFA not to ban us or UEFA ban clubs from Europe. Wasn't that the "bullet" we took...the plea bargain?

No. We didn't take the FIGC to trial. That is not the same as accepting guilt however.

Then somewhere I'm getting confused. Taking the FIGC trial on what grounds then? If we accepted a plea bargain in Calciopoli how then can we take FIGC to court?
